Bear with me - the light is so poor here today in Scottish Scotland, that I can't get a decent pic of the atties involved but will post tomorrow morning.

I have a pair of devices that I call the "Mistresses Buchanan," who urban legend had it, in Scotland , in the 60s to 80s were the Maiden Ladies, the daughters of the founders of the firm, Who's dogs were featured on the label who made this excellent blended Scotch, which, sadly now is available everywhere else but in Scotland, it's birthplace!.

BTW I am aware , like J&B Rare it was originally blended in London and originally called something like Parliamentry Blend but the raw whiskies originated on Speyside, the Lowllands, with a touch of Islay in the Highlands!

Well, it seems to be the end of an era for the trusty old Nautilus Mini - no UK firms have any left and one has marked it as "Out of Production."

Having tried and disliked the Nautilus 3 intensely over a year ago, I thought I'd give the Nautilus GT a try, and it's a case of "so far, so good."

Here's mine on an iStick Pico Plus with an original Mini tip which I think improves the draw

Would you still like to use them though... if you could find some?
Yes of course I would ( I have 6 complete with the Pyrex glass tanks and 7 complete with lattice tanks plus some replacement glasses ) which is why I went looking online using only trusted UK sellers I knew, to get one replacement for a glass one which I broke and ruined the base trying to get out a severely locked coil.

I love these, I have around 180 coils for them in my stash ( a coil lasts me 6 weeks minimum; I am coming up 75 and I'm laying in 10 years supply of everything I like ) - I have bought others but still come back to these old things.

Once I find a thing I like, I tend to stick with it,

The alias Falconeer comes from my love of Falcon System pipes which I smoked and stuck with from 1974 until a month before I joined ECF coming up 10 years ago this coming Winter. Prior to taking up the pipe I'd stuck with Senior Service plain (unfiltered) British Virginia cigarettes since I took up serious smoking in 1965.

I have other devices, more expensive, but Nautilus Minis are still my favourites.

The only thing I won't do is buy from a U.S supplier, as when I bought a Tide Graph watch from Amazon, which came from America, I'd hardly set it up when I got a phone call from my Bank's Fraud Squad asking me if I'd ordered various things, which I hadn't - thankfully RBS cut them off and refunded the ripped off money

What a lovely job they did on the stabwood. Your Mods are always a treat to see.
    Thanks Mate:thumb:
I did do a lot of homework to find myself an excellent stabwood maker before I purchased my custom mods and I was very lucky to stumble upon these guys!!

Here we go - this week I'm checking out the original Zenith versus the Nautilus G versus the Innokin Zlide all with 1.6 ohm coils, filled with 16 strength Menthol Chill firing at 8 watts.

Here's first contender, an original bottom airflow Zenith atop an Innokin Chroma Z17.
