I am a GUY from L.A. not girl. lol
Not to try to bring up a dead point but I was wondering why people were have so many issues with the USB charger and I noted some observations that I had through this beta test..

When I first received the PB & USB charger I plugged it into my laptop.. battery was fully charged & the light was blue on the charger. 2nd charge I used the wall charger, 3rd charge I used the USB charger via a AC wall adapter & that was the 1st time I noticed the dancing red & blue lights that others were experiencing. 4th charge I used the USB charger via the laptop again & everything worked perfectly LED went out & the charger turned completely blue.

So I was kinda wondering if most are using the USB charger with an AC adapter and if that is more or less causing the lights on the USB charger to react the way they are.

Just a thought that I wanted to share...

I am using my HTC Ac/USB adapter soley. I don't have any free USB ports on my puter, so I only did one charge w/ it. Seemed about the same w/ the flashing LEDs and such. Maybe it's a USB1 vs. USB2 thing. Do you know wether you have a USB 1 or 2?

I am noticing that after four or five charge cycles, the PB seems to be giving me a fuller hit. My charge time is along the same lines as everyone else but I try not to let it go completely dead. Just plug it in when I notice the decrease in hit.
After using up the original juice in two cartomizers, I refilled and then started using them with my drip tip.
Now that is an awesome vape...

Agreed completely. This is pretty standard w/ any LIIon batt. After a few cycles they really shine.

okay...I think I have the charger issue figured out......they work fine on an ac adapter plugged into surge suppresor because the surge suppresor blocks the government mind rays. But....if you use them plugged directly into the PC....well....it's obvious really if you think about it.....the Internet is just Big Brothers playground.....I know that it's true because they had an X-Files episode about it. And I want to believe......I really, really do.

Hello, boys and girls! Time for my daily update.

I'm happy to report that after 4 or 5 (sorry, I lost count) charges, my PB is behaving much better. I've refilled some old and new cartomizers, dealt with my draw issues, and I suddenly remembered how much fun this little SS setup is.

The first two times I really counted the puffs from full charge to blinking, but I stopped doing it because the draw does become unsatisfactory after about 11-12 sessions (my sessions consist of 12 slow, long draws). Once I feel I need primer puffs to get enough vapor and flavor, I put the battery on the charger. But I can get over 200 puffs before the battery dies.

As for battery life, the only solution is to have multiple batteries (3 is good, 4 is even better) and swap them throughout the day. That's what I've been doing, always. I can't just stop vaping for 2 1/2 hours while my battery is charging. I have two on the chargers (my kit came with an USB charger and a wall charger), and two charged and ready to go. A PCC is almost a must for those who leave home early and are gone most of the day. Bill, you really should consider offering a SS PCC (long enough to accomodate the PB).

Last, but not least, I'd like to say that I wholeheartedly agree with the following plea from Spacekitty:

And now, to get my in about the CZ color... I know that the image of a Pitbull is strong and tough, which the new batt definitely is!! And I agree that the Red would be absolutely gorgeous... It's just the term "blood red" that I am having a problem with... Pitbulls have been getting a bad rap lately, with all of the attacks you see on TV, whether it's against people or other animals. So, just from a marketing standpoint, couldn't it be called "Ruby" red? or maybe "Fiery" red? Just a thought...
As a card carrying member of the HSUS and ASPCA, and a friend of all God's creatures, big and small (including cats :p), I don't want to see the image of a pit bull again associated, even remotely, with blood. Plaese, call it whatever you want, but not blood red. Ruby red sounds much better, anyway. We're all about bling, aren't we?

oh yes.....better believe it :) If anyone knows what kind of trouble someone can cause on a forum in the wee hours it would be me.

would you agree, Katya?

and just to chime in on the pitbull image, blood and gore and all that......there is only one thing wrong with a Pit....and that is it's owner.

and btw.....sleep....like food and safety gear....is for sissys.

A blood red rose by any other name would smell as sweet. I am not a dog lover(cat person), but I have known one of the most obeidient, friendly, and loving dogs ever and she is a pitbull. I don't think the 'Blood Red' is a reflection of the animal, it is a common name for that color of stone. Ya know?

Ok guys....... I got a total of 34 hits on my PB for the 3rd charge... It was hitting like a dream and I was lovin it. As I was locking up the office it slipped out of my hand hit the concrete and died........ I run home and put it back on the charger but I have a sad sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Absolutely. My local shelter, where both my daughters volunteer, is full of pitt bulls and purse dogs (thank you, Paris Hilton). The pitt bulls are sweet and sad and abused all over the world. That's why we (tree huggers and animal lovers) are trying to uncouple the images of blood and gore and those poor, innocent creatures that our popular "culture" sees as vicious and blood thirsty.

And yes, I have witnessed several of your nightly escapades, Lori dear...

And no, she never sleeps. I've sent her emails and PMs at all times of day and night and she was always right there... Waiting...

BTW, who's taking care of Abby now? You seem to be working 24/7....literally.

Ouch! So do I. So sorry. I don't think that switch can survive a fall on concrete, can it?
