An auto-wicking robotic something or other. "Siri"/"Alexa" whatevs male voice, East Coast accent.

Pours wine when wicking is kompleted.

"Siri, calibrate my vape to its optimum vapor and flavor production level. Notify me when the tank is almost empty."

Eventually your display will inform you how many milliliters you've vaped so far today, how much nicotine you've inhaled, and will display your heart rate and oxygen saturation when you press the fire button. It will probably include an FDA warning informing us that nicotine is addictive.
You could probably do that now with a Bluetooth mod and a good phone. It’s just software. A lot of it, but just software.

Next? Not sure. Mechs will be totally back again though if they solve the battery safety problem, and there’s a few fairly promising technologies that might do it. If and when is up in the air though and vapes won’t be the only thing that will change.

Before that happens I predict evolv will solve their advanced documentation issues and add Bluetooth. Meanwhile Chinese boards will catch up with TC. Whether evolv survives or not probably depends on which happens first.

In the US market “Salts” will either be restricted in some way or take over literally everything. Unrestricted “salts” and a vapocalypse are both wins for BT now though. Either way.

I really believe in that... But I would never buy such thing!

Well one thing that should happen real soon: Rebuildable Pod systems. We already have Magic Atopack which has that little cotton squares that you can change and they do claim that one pod can last up 3months. So Im guessing next thing is Rebuildable Pod with changable mesh coild and cotton rewicking. I mean its easy to create, but not really worth it for the companies. But that should be a hit. I would buy it.. :) in a lot of Europe countries pods can cost even more than a pack of ciggies.. so Rebuildable pod system would be convienient to carry (because pods are small) and you could easily rebuild it.

This would be great! I would buy in a hurry. The problem is, as you said, the idea is perfect for us, not so much for companies. They are really comfortable turning us dependents on their own pod models to turn out for rebuildables, so I don't believe it will happen soon or later. But it would be a must, certainly!

That is true. Altho maybe some company will decide to go another road. Right now pod systems varies from 15-30 bucks(I am not talking about those orion or any other branded pods which in most cases are .... anyways). So maybe some company will decide to make a rebuildable pod system and make it more expensive. I would definately pay 30-50 bucks for that kind of system.

Well for all you autosquonk predictors, the future seems to have arrived.

Maybe Alexa or Siri controlling your mod isn't so crazy as it sounds.

"Hey Siri, please squonk my mod 5 minutes before I arrive home and turn the stereo on to my Wolf Alice Playlist on Spotify. Oh, and order in a pizza, no anchovies, otherwise you decide"

I don't think I'm ready for this.

What has driven the high end vape market for a long time now is standardization. Consumers abhor proprietary products. The 510 connector was NOT the best connector. It was the nonproprietary one. IMHO The biggest difference between pods and vapes is the lack of interoperability.

PLASTICS! When the FDA finally drops the hammer for real, everything will be non tamper able, injection molded, proprietary connected plastic...it's good for the environment.
I so hope that doesn't happen. Love my metal mods and attys.
