Is the wire disconnected at the screw or at the pin of the connector? Can ya pull the positive screw up with no wire connected?
Mine was disconnected from the screw, but i still had to poke out the centre pin to retrieve the wire.
Pushed it back through the base and out the screw hole and just soldered it back on to the L piece which i placed facing the outer edge of inside the base.
I just be careful when doing a repair to not over tighten.
Will do it properly someday filling the base with something.
Still vapes like a champ using 6 turns of Nichrome .2 @1.7 Ohms.
Okay so I have an a2. Been loving it but here lately it's kinda like its turned into a dripper. I used to fill the cart and it would last quite some time now it seems every ten or so hits I'm topping off the cart or it taste like crap. Any advice?
I wanna try a ss wick and I have the materials to do so from a scubagen I had just need advice on how to do it. Also what's this talk of aquarium filler? Can I get this at petsmart?

So I did a little fiddling to try and figure out why my a2 would only last about 10 hits or so before I had to top it off again. Figured out the problem , for some reason the filler which is folded in half as I'm sure you guys and gals already knew , was only getting wet on the outside , bone dry on the insides where it's folded.
Unfolded it and soaked with juice , seems to be working great now and the filler is soaking up juice like it should. Gonna try that aqua stuff if i can find it at petsmart later on today. Maybe it will hold the juice better.

Okay guys just got back from the pet store. Will either of these work? I don't wanna kill myself testing stuff out lol.
Not sure if it's the right stuff. The aqua clear filter insert is foam. The fluval water polishing pad is more like a cotton.
Edit : the fluval water polishing pads are micro-fine polyester.

The fluval I used to use in carts so I know its good to use.

Have not tried either, the one I posted has two layers of poly, the outer layer is very fluffy and the inner layer more dense. This dense poly is very similar to what comes folded in the original A2 cart.

after seeing this thread I am glad I got the standard A2, I also got the tank upgrade kit. Glad I'll be able to try a few thing with it. Some great ideas here. Still waiting for it to be delivered though...
Im having a hard time finding some extra carts for the a2. I want the same kind that came with it. Anyone know where i can get them beside bulli? Checked the link in an earlier post but it seems they discontinued them.
Save yourself the bother and get a 701-510 drip tip adapter from vaporage.
Much better without the filler and cart imo, that's if you don't mind dripping.
