I can't stop thinking about it. I wish Provape would give us a provari that could push rba's
down to .6-7ohm and run up to 30w. I know I'd be able to end my quest having to endlessly
search for mostly unattainable high end mechanicals. I love my poldiac with a .7-8ohm coil,
but don't really care for such high watts late at night, or first thing in the morning. Not to
mention the way the vape changes depending on the battery charge. Would be so nice to
be able to change the volts on demand.

I know I want it. I think I need it. Anybody else? Maybe we can help get the ball rolling.

I thought this was going to be a VW thread, LOL. I would love to see them bring out something that could go down to .5ohms and up to 30watts. Even better if it was a $20 upgrade;)

You and me both lol. What if ProVape made the ProMech  telescoping mech mod???? *wakes up from dream*

I was bored today and did underload tests on all my mechs (Poldiac won with 0.28 drop)... All had the same beginning battery voltage, used the same rba on all of them (kayfun)so there were less variables to get more accuracy. For the fun of it, I had to throw my provari in the mix too and no matter what voltage I set it at, it was consistently, at the very most, only +/- 0.01 off. On the higher end, the provari wins over any mechanical due to its ability to consistently keep the voltage at the desired amount even as the battery's life goes down. So yeah, it would be wonderful to have a Provari that doesn't have the 1 ohm limitation and be able to handle the lower ohms efficiently with all the safety features. :vapor:

Just get a legacy mechinical and a kick. Wont go the with with the watts but works really good. IMHO Provape doesn't need to change a thing about their mod. Sorry but I've got three and I would trade all my china made junk for just one or two others. IMHO.
If you want something that the maker doesn't supply then look elsewhere. Sorry not trying to start something just my meger :2c:

While I agree the ProVari is a fantastic device as is, I would love to see a more powerful one at some point. Until then my raw mechs get the job done.

Can someone please explain this obsession with low resistance coils to me? Mine are around 2.0 ohms and the vapor is wonderful.

1.8 - 2.0 ohms works good for me every time. (Now if I could only remember which wire and how many wraps I used).

I don't quite get it either. I've tried stuff around .7 but I usually like to sit around the 1.1ohm area as my low end and 2 on my high end.

As far as the provari , it will fire a 1.1ohm coil at 3.8 volts which is about 13.5 watts. IMO more than enough power.

When I'm using a carto on a prov I prefer 3ohm. Works great in all aspects. You couldn't give me lr carto's.
HATED them! However, now that I'm using rba's I really prefer lower ohms. If I try & wrap a higher ohm coil
it really lags. The lr coils respond so much better. Cleaner flavor, shorter draws, & warmer.

Example, 28g kanthal responds so slow on a provari. I use it on a poldiac & it's instant goodness. For me to
get 28g to half work right I need 6/7 wrap. Way to many wraps for fast response times. Now, if I use 30-32g
I'm not getting the same amount of flavor. Granted the response times are the same, but the flavor is so much
different.

All I know is I'd much rather spend my money with provape then any other mechanical mod company. I know
provape could out do them, just wish they'd hurry up. I also wish they'd pay attention to the beauty some of
the mech's have been coming out with & apply it to the looks as well.

I'd pay top dollar for a provape like that. I'm sure I couldn't be alone here. I know Busardo's with me.

What other improvement could the prov get? If it's just adding watts that would be pretty lame. They out
did the darwin for a reason. I mean, they have to come up with something better.
