My first impressions of the Juul. I unpacked and put it together before leaving the Post office. After all I got it to use while out and about. :)

The first puff was very strong. Made me cough and a little dizzy actually. But the airflow was really lacking in my opinion. I was satisfied overall.

Upon arriving home and modifying the airflow (thanks Mr Man) it was much improved.

Will finish vaping this cartridge before filling with my own juice. Looking forward to that. I think it will work just fine for an on-the-go vape.

:rickroll:

Man, I am happy I didn't take my first hit on the Juul while driving. I vape all day on 24 mg nic in a Nautilus Mini and the Juul repeatedly spun me around the first twenty or so hits (spread out over 12 hours or so, with no other vaping during that time).

It's a cool little device. It is Very easy to lose tho. It's got it quirks. Also, make sure the pods stay dry on the outside and inside of the connection (mouthpiece too), all dry.

I got the Cnyc in today. Gonna give it some time but so far I think I'd be more inclined to keep this for my back-up and let the Juul be the back-up for the back-up (not that I don't have close to my own body weight in other gear, LOL).

You didn't realize that the Juul pods are 50mg in strength?

Will be ordering the Cync also. Just for a choice and to try it out. Looks like it's refillable as well. Just planning to get the standard battery.

I Understand the Juul pods can be refilled, anybody try refilling any of the other systems?
I also ordered a Mistic, it has 10 ml pods and I will try to refill them. I think if a small hole is made and thumb screw put in like we used to use in carto tanks years ago, it would work :) Will let you know when it gets here :)

When you're ready, I have noted the proper sizes for the drill bit and tap for your project.

Cool, I have to find my thumb screw from old carto tanks :) Not sure size. But this is what I am thinking could work?? Maybe? :) You can see the juice level, maybe a bit higher up on the slope.

Not a modder, so can't advise on hole placement, sorry. The screws I believe are common to older PC's. Many colors, but I 'd be concerned about the size. Not small. I' d want tiny myself for that application.

And...the Cync is refillable! Easier than the Juul TBH. Super easy. Not a closed system.

Thanks ... How is the airflow? Any modification needed?

Airflow is good. It's got the amount of airflow that leads to a deep MTL or a shallow lung hit. I am not sure if that makes sense, but it's sorta like a hybrid hit. The draw requires a long, slow drag though. It's has a longer ramp than the Juul, but overall I think it's set up best for refilling. Battery life sucks, but that is to be expected from a 390 mAh batt. I'll use it and probably get a few more for the cars.

I knew, but it's not merely that. I am someone that, as I said, vapes 24 mg/mL nic out of a Nautilus Mini. The amount I exhale on the Nauty can be double of that Juul double per vape (inhale/exhale). The amount of vapor the Juul puts out should not hit so strong (I've vaped 50 mg/mL before out of a Joyetech dripping atty; similar output).

Even my normal 24 mg/mL can hit really hard out of the Juul.

Either it's the whole "nic salt" thing, or the Juul for some reason just hits hard (as evident in my own liquid hitting harder than it would out of similar old school set-ups). But I will also say that it's easy to get accustomed to that hit, even with the Juul liquid, so the fireworks do wear off.

Yes, I watched your vid and then put 2 of the Mistic in my cart with the bogo sale. I like most everything about them and no doubt they are powerful based on your video.

I have a little problem with them being more/less disposable. Great for emergencies or traveling but I hate the thought of disposable stuff if I can avoid it. Also, I kind of hate the idea of supporting anything the FDA is pushing for, I am old and stubborn. :headbang:

I am very interested in seeing where these go and am not putting anyone down for using these. Whatever works is good by me.
Maybe I'm missing something here but I dont understand why we think/believe/know/guess the FDA is likely to approve the pod systems for sale versus taxing the heck out of our traditional stuff. Both traditional and pod systems are vaping whether open or closed systems. IMO the FDA's emphasis is to make tons of money and they are using the excuse that vaping leads to smoking, vaping is more dangerous than smoking, yada, yada, for all these regulations. They would be cutting their nose to spite their face if they didnt simply allow everything to exist and tax them like cigs.
