Btw, I don't care for tube mods. I sub-ohm. I haven't been interested in a Provari. I don't like the way the tapered tops look with tanks like I have and it would cost $20 to get the ring. So, I have passed every time they've been mentioned.
Since I am done stocking up and they are having the sale, I went and looked at a Dragon. I put it in my cart with the 18650 extension. I thought, well I do have the cartos and the Protank IIs. I could use those on it. I came soooo close to hitting the button! Then I remembered that I would need button top batteries. I just bought 4 more flat tops last week. I'm not buying any more for a long while. *Phew* almost got bitten by the Provari bug!

Hehe - you just reminded me of something from about 50 years ago.

We lived in a trailer park in Kansas so when a big tornado came through - we had to evacuate. Our evacuation point was a cellar of an 150+ yr old home about 5 miles away.

Well the tornado tore that house apart - 3 days later we were finally dug out. When we got released we went to our trailer park to check the damage - not one thing touched. It was totally intact... Dumb luck... LOL...

That is insane. Glad you were able to make it out ok. Tornados freak me out.

I don't fear storms much. I LOVE thunderstorms!

The most scared I ever was was in 1985, when Kate came through. (I lived in South Georgia then) My ex and I lived in a rinky dink trailer with our 5 month old baby. We were going to go to the in-laws to ride Kate out. We decided to take a quick nap and didn't wake up in time. We woke up to howling winds and rain. There was no way to leave. We had not finished putting skirting around the trailer and could hear it rat-tat-tat-tat as it spun in circles, cutting holes in the trailer. I was sitting in the bed, leaned against the wall (no headboard) and I felt the wall pull away. I looked down and saw the ground! The only thing we could do was pray and wait.

When it was over, we went out and saw the holes in the trailer. Although we lived in a rural area on many acres of land and trees, it had been cleared out near the trailer and we had left 3 trees by the house. They were all gone. The next door neighbor had a nice brick home. She had a row of pine trees going across her roof. God spared us for sure!

Wow!! That is terrifying to read, I can't imagine going through it first hand. Somebody was watching out for you for sure. I will take our snow storms over tornados and hurricanes any day.

Not me. As much as I dislike tornados & hurricanes snow & ice terrify me. I lived in snow country for most of my adult life & glad to be in Florida. Driving in snow & ice freaks me out. At least down here after the storm is over roads are drivable. In snow country a sheet of ice on the road could still be there days later.

That's horribly scary to even think about!! Glad you were all okay!!

 That's the great thing about vaping now, there is something for all the different preferences.
I can completely relate to all that you just said because I don't sub ohm, and if I switched now, I'd need completely different gear and batteries, so the different sales have not phased me either.

Yeah, I forgot about ice. :(.
Thankfully, we don't get much, and my job is such that if we get bad weather like that I can stay home and get caught back up later.
We're far enough South that if we do get ice, it's generally a day or two event, power outages might last longer than that, but they usually get the roads in shape within a day or so.

I work at an equipment company, so there are others that will have to go to work, because municipalities, and the power companies depend on being able to buy parts or equipment.

A few years before we moved here we were hit by a van that lost control on the ice, almost got hit another time and lost power for a week after a really big ice storm. That did us in. Florida here we come! Tank tops, shorts and flip-flops year-round.

Yeah, I definitely want to retire somewhere that I can dress like that year round too. It's already been agreed on.

Also, I didn't post here, but as for "post 8-8 stock up, I do have a KM5 on it's way from HHV. :D
Want to try to stay on topic.

Bea, I saw you post that you were pretty much done, and I know I got some flack yesterday for it...teasing flack, in fun. ;)

But I truly am done, I won't say that if something doesn't catch my eye that I won't get it, or if I see a super crazy great price on something, but I do have all the *needs* well covered, and like your cartoon image, I am jumping for joy too!! :). I loved that and thought it a very appropriate image to convey the feeling.

Same here Lori. I will only buy something if it wouldnt make sense not too.

It's a good feeling isn't it? To know that no matter what the FDA throws at us we will be able to do what we want for many many years.

Well, not year round. Once you get acclimated 75 degrees will have you pulling out a jacket...:)
i often say 'anything under 80* is a blizzard in my book'...........coastal Texas not missing my snow shovels, long johns, snow tires. i do miss 4ft icles,, fields of white snow at 4am with a cup of coffee and the beauty of the silence of it all.

Like you I almost got bit Thursday night by that Provari bug too but I came to my senses before purchasing. ;)

We're off to dinner and the horse races in a few minutes so hopefully I'll make it through another 24 hours without making any Labor Day sale purchases :D I almost caved this afternoon when I saw the Cronus mod on clearance at Aquavapor this afternoon for only $6.00 since it's my favorite clone mechanical but I don't need a 3rd one for myself even if its a great price so I passed :)

Actually we've been here several years. And it's true, in the winter we pull out a jacket...but still wear shorts and flips!

The folks here that also follow the porches will know that I travel to the Philippines pretty regularly - Last year the news was reporting a cold front coming in and warned everyone to bundle up - It was going to be 75 degrees F in the morning... In the morning I was sitting on my porch in shorts, tee, and flips and everyone of them were bundled and shivering (and staring at me)... :D
