.39 dual micro coil on a plume veil. This works... badly. I am having a really hard time centering the coils, and having a ton of airflow and heat problems because they aren't centered. Also I want to have one single strand of wick running all the way through both coils but I don't want to block the airholes on the negative posts. Maybe do it like this but run the wick over the middle of the positive block? That way the liquid will go where it needs to because its all one piece of wick, and I won't get one side half dry and the other over saturated. I get that a lot when I drip through the drip tip instead of taking the cap off.

That's an easy fix: Just use the other center post hole for your positive lead. This will put your coil in the middle of the deck.

Kind like I have my old Helios here:

Its not the widest I have. I made a custom one that is 6.35mm

Yeah that second pic looks really nice. I've been all over the cherryvapes cloud chaser tips for that huge bore but they don't look sexy at all!

OK, gotta comment cuz I love my plume veil.

First, what diameter are your coils, why are they so close to the positive block and why are they so low on the deck?

Let those babies breathe!

Bring them to the outside of the deck, center them ( after tightening by putting your screwdriver back in and using the handle to move them around) and then lift them up to be almost even with the large airholes.

Also, what are you wicking with, it looks like ekowool...

Function over Form for me :D ...8mm id...

if G-weezy is reading this, can you tell me the id on those Cap and DT combo's please :)
Does that tip press fit in the cap?

The brass one I posted was a pain. I had to make the o-ring from a kayfun tank o-ring. It is as large as I can go and still have a o-ring without boring out the cap.

ID 2mm, wicked with japanese cotton pads, it's just kind of dry there. It doesn't seem that low to me? I checked it with the bottom half of the cap on and the coils are 1-2mm above where the air slots are. Yeah it's too close to the positive block because I bent it in trying to center it. Probably going to redo it today and put the positive leads on opposite sides and make the negative longer, maybe use nichrome 80 instead of kanthal for more surface area.

Chipotle.
My latest that I feel is worthy of posting, calling it the "Super Single" just because I like saying it. Parallel twisted 24ga, four wraps, 2.5mm inner diameter(macro). Easily the most vapor production I've ever had off a single coil, ramp up time isn't bad at all but it does take a bit to cool down. Wicked with hemp fiber(loose fiber, not yarn) and loving every minute of it.

Yeah, technically it's two coils side by side, don't care. Build itself wasn't really hard but getting it through the post holes was a chore, even on a Zenith with the nice wide slots.

been working with twisted 28g for the last few builds, had to cheap out and get a spool of 28g cause it was only $3 lol also got 30g and going to try some quad twists.

i think i may keep doing the twisted 28g though mainly cause its cheap and looks pretty too :) and its super easy to do, i find wrapping coils with this wire way easier than normal wire, i do still have trouble keeping my wraps even with say normal 24g, this is only my 6th build ever but im addicted and will keep practicing my normal coils :)

edit: forgot its running at 0.39 ohms :)

nice twist builds, is it really 3.9 ohm ken?

froth i dunno how big they zenith slots are but these mephisto's i have are 3mm post holes, theys massive, its also good for singles :D

challenge getting a pic to show the ohms and the coils at the same time lol i got it on a brass stillare and i drilled out the juice catcher at the top which gave it so much more air flow, love it :)
