JTD just keep doing what your doing brother, it's clear that you have a passion for it. Your builds are on point and Im sure a bunch of us are wishing to accomplish similar builds one day. Exactly. I'm not any different than any other dude out there. Some people here hate on me, so they start assuming and labeling me as high and mighty. Let them hate. As Tom said above - if they hate then I'm clearly doing something right lol

And it's true. I've offered to help other members. I don't sit in their head. I don't control them. I can't control if they're gonna choose to ignore me or turn their back on me and talk smack. It's out of my hands. I'm not them. They're them. Let them make their own decisions in life, let them hate. It doesn't bother me. At the end of the day actions and pictures speak louder than words.

As for ribbon - 0.5mm is the hardest to work with. Not 0.3mm. Sure it may be harder to stack 0.3 but it's easier when it comes to shaping 0.3 , especially when it's n80 because it's a softer wire. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

No problem my friend it wasn't hard to find the info for you, took me all of 5mins
I had a go at it and it's quite easy to do so long as you have a nice pair of tweezers with a long closing edge as the ribbon tends to want to move a little.
I don't know how many ways there are to make armadillo wire but you can also make it doing the same kind of technique.

Haha Slip, don't worry I don't squirm easy. I think most of the people on this forum can attest to my building knowledge & ability.
But yeah .3 is the hardest ribbon to start out with. If it's N80 or SS it's gonna be super flimsy. It won't want to listen to you that much. .4x.1mm is cake compared to it if you're first starting out with ribbon cores.

This surprised me...


28 around 22. Vapes as well as the 10 wraps of 22/36.
Actually better on 80w.
I had no hope for this build.
It would be 30 awg wrap but my cat decided he needed the spool.
I woke up to a mile of wire all over the house.

Hahahaa it can take a long time to wrap that wire back up onto the spool without twisting it and getting tangles

Nice build btw in my Limitless i have a single coil a parallel 26g (0.19ohm) on 2.5mm id and i can vape it as low as 35w and its nice for not blasting through the juice or battery power.

I have the stnd limitless and a plus, i love them to bits, great taste from them keeping the coil/s very low but they can blast through a lot of juice! hence my conservative build

i do enjoy the petty bickering, especially since you are all obviously coil builders of some talent. i like to name most of my coils, and i typically choose 'crap' or 'disappointing'.

Luckily for me, HRH vapes so i just pass them off as massive works of technical skill and endurance, although it's just a Clapton. Here's an example:

I am surely an outsider looking in. So I know nothing about the entire situation. However, I've learned in the past that chatting online has no intonation. So many times what one writes isn't really how they meant it. I give people online the benefit of the doubt because you can't write the sound of speech. Other times some just don't have the skill of social interaction. I look for intent. Most times one can tell what intent people have. Just my observations in general. I don't mean to come off taking sides or anything. It's just hate is such a strong word. And you guys are very competitive, and do work beyond my imagination. I'm at the point of trying to get one prebuilt working properly.

I don't need drama or insults or back stabbers in my life. Had plenty of those. Instead of being a man and sorting it out he'd rather put me on ignore because deep down he knows he was wrong.
It's like seminolewind said, sometimes something you write isn't how its meant, plus on top of this you also have the difference of humor or humour between americans and english, to cut a long story short i said something to him that he took the wrong way, why would you say something in a bad way to someone you're friends with!right?
Dam right i'm not going to apologize for something someone takes the wrong way, thats their problem if they cant think and yes as you can imagine after him not understanding what i said properly or thinking before reacting and having a paddy there was a lot of back and forth with words

I haven't been on here in awhile and man i can't believe how ignorant and arrogant you are homie. I mean pages 412-413 were you praising yourself, and if by what you shared with people as trying to help, you need a tune up on your vernacular.
