This is an atty I'm gonna be passing on. The Catemizer, but since it says Cate on it, and Kate is my ex's name, it's a sign that I should stay away from it. Funny too, I've had a few variations of the name Caitlyn/Katherine, etc, and the last one ****ed me up pretty bad. I could do without another Cate lol.

heres a handy way of laying your wire for the staggered that i found
at first it didnt work for me but i turnt the drill around and tried from the other side and yeh it started working

30mm, pretty gigantic. And I knew there was a reason on why I held out on the Petri v1.5.

I'm seeing a v2 coming soon..

28g is great but with 44g try out 30g Kanthal. I'd say Kanthal over n80 bc it's a little bit of a stiffer wire. Jury duty cramping my style right now. $5 a day instead of my studio hourly rates.

Try holding the spool with your thumb and index finger horizontal parallel to the core wire, with the 44g 90° to the cores..kind of a terrible explaination but kind of like an L. The vertical part of the L is the 44g and the horizontal part of the L is the cores, and move the spool along as you go further down the core. Perfect Claptons every time at full speed.

So shiny when it's fresh. Old build but I still have more of the wire laying around. The Clapton is a .5mmx.2mm ribbon in 40g N80. The arch is a beast. 30g arches look like 20g next to that 40g Clapton. Try a low profile ribbon Clapton with your 44g...those are awesome. Like .8mm X .1mm 2 ply claptoned in 44g

Very clean work. I can dig it. I wouldn't say I'm an über builder, it's a hobby to me, a hobby that brings in a tax free income on a weekly basis. I hope there aren't any IRS agents on this board...

That was not my intention buddy. It is hard for an experienced vaper to start all from fresh on a different forum maybe that is why it came across like that. It wasn't an easy journey but I got there and now I am enjoying it.
You are quite talented I have been looking into your old posts. I don't do parallels but yours look cleaner.

That was not my intention buddy. It is hard for an experienced vaper to start all from fresh on a different forum maybe that is why it came across like that. It wasn't an easy journey but I got there and now I am enjoying it.

Haha I was just messin around! Can't take anybody in this thread too seriously...I only do parallels sometimes. The way I wrap them may be different. Let's say I was wrapping a 26g fused Clapton parallel to a single strand 24g, what I do is wrap the 26g fused Clapton first, and when I've gotten the amount of wraps I want, I'll kind of force the single strand 24g in between the wraps of the fused Clapton. It's a good method, try it out

It wouldn't be flawless (mod is a Limitless, Flawless makes the Tugboat/Dinghy/Production Atty/Tugboat mods) cause the Kennedy base is stainless...which is why I'm deciding between the knurled aluminum peg sleeve or something of the like. I'm going to pick up a diamondback sleeve today though. And Retro, that Petri in the picture has to be a new design from dotmod. The v1/v1.5 airhole would be centered in between the two in that picture. Also the sidewall looks thinner for some reason. Plus a gold cap? I must have it.
