Wow. I have NO idea why I didn't think of using the Artistic jig for my setup. I ended up screwing a swivel to a spare piece of wood, then clamping that to my Walmart card table in 2 places, using things i found lying around to close the gap underneath the table ledge, lmao. I'm going to rip that all apart and do it the easy way the next time I fuse!No problem, your good. I didn't take anything in any wrong way.
I just purchased a shop vise that I mounted on my work table. But that's not where I build coils. Was going to buy another clamp vise but I knew I had something laying around.
That Artistic wire to me was garbage. I can already make coils but I couldn't stand using that thing.
But seeing how it has a clamp on attached to it I thought why not. Inserted the smallest spinning rod they had and put the swivel through.
I attached some pics of my little area. Don't mind the clutter.
Back to basics. 13.5 wraps, 26K, 0.74Ω in the Derringer clone on the Noisy Cricket. Vape's not bad. May have to go with a high gauge fused Clapton next time for a little better flavor.
Nice use for the old coil master. Use it as a vice...LOL. Mine is in the box. Made many a coil with that bad boy. I could make 10-15 coils per minute...No problem, your good. I didn't take anything in any wrong way.

Just wanted to mention that SWIVELS are for fishing. You can find them in your local tackle store or your nearest Dicks Sporting Goods in the rods and reels area[emoji12] [emoji12] [emoji12]
Sweet !! I have the swivels with the ball bearings(20pcs) the only thing I didn't have to buy & I knew exactly what they were... I happen to love saltwater fishing & I make my own jigs
I'm try'in to be patient, waiting on this vise from Amazon. A matter of fact, let me go check on where it is... Its been quite a longtime, since I've been this excited about tools...

Hmm, I'm waiting on some wire, rayon, a vise & let's not forget the magnifying, swing arm lamp Amazon.com - Studio Designs 12308 Magnifying Lamp, 13-watt, Black -, Lord knows I won't be able to do anything without this lamp. The jewelers magnifying head gear I own, has gotten the job done over the years, but I figure its time to upgrade some stuff, besides my baby bro just started vaping this past Aug & I gave him a velocity clone for an early Xmas gift...smh...I created a cloud chaser !He's into cloud tricks & he's the only sibling I have, thats into building his own coils & already he thinks he can out blow me... Oooo that didn't sound right either....
Anyhoo, I broke down & ordered a Twisted Messes clone... What's the point of making these coils, if I don't have an atty to fit them in... I've been using my velocity clones (standard & mini) my Hannya & my Mephisto v1 clone for parallel & large coil builds, but its been hard trying to get a good connection with these janky screws & such. It'll hold me until I can get myself an Authentic TM. I got a Phenotype L clone b4 the holidays, I used it once... whatta piece of junk...sigh.. All the o-rings are janky & so loose the top cap comes off in my mouth, with the drip tip... Aww mann, that didn't sound too lady-like either, so maybe I should quit while I'm ahead...
What do u guys think of the Noisy Cricket & the Indestructible atty by Jaybo ? I've been taking a 2nd look at it & at first I didn't think much of it, but after watching Trevors video it looks kinda interesting. And this has nothing to do with me breaking my Tesla Invader II mod, no really... I shared a couple of these pics with my little brother, I hope u guys don't mind... I gave u guys the credit, but I felt the need to put my little brother (31yrs old) in his "Newbie" place & to let him know, it takes more than just a few Youtube videos, a 5 in 1 coil-master & 90 days smoke- free, to be a Vaporhead And of course, I'll put him on to the ECF... Eventually...
Oh Wow ! I found an old Protank coil... I might use it to make some claptons, like I saw in a video on Youtube. The question is.. where to put it, so I can find it when I need it ?? And according to Amazon, my vise won't be here until somewhere between Jan. 11 - 14th, but it shipped yesterday...

I LOVE mine. Shown here with a Derringer, I have an Indestructible on order. I also have the Tesla Invader II, and haven't used it since getting this. But... The Invader II is a parallel mech and the Noisy Cricket is a series. Very different build parameters.
I didn't know whether it was series or not, I was thinking in terms of another dual 18650 mod. But my main interest was the RDA , but there's no point in getting 1 without the other. Since they're more of a match set & pretty much made for each other... I was just try'in to find a good reason to buy another setup, but I know I don't need it... That Twisted Messes clone put me over my vape budget for this month & I'm still paying for Xmas, so I appreciate the pics CC
It's good to see I have Vape Mail today. My Cellucotton/ rayon, my Twisted Messes RDA & my 550ft of kanthal (50ft of 22g, 100ft of 24,26,28,30 & 32 gauge) will be here today. But the most important piece (the vise) won't get here until the weekend or at the very worst... next Monday afternoon. Perhaps, I can make some Tiger coil or Tidal wire today & put a nice parallel or fused clapton coil in the TM atty today. Hopefully, this TM atty is better than that Phenotype L atty was. Whew !! the Pheno L was a complete P.O.S I should've known by the lack of videos that the clone was trash. At least the TM has vids posted & they're clone vs authentic videos, so the clone is at least half ... decent & I can expect a decent 1:1 clone I can work with and not a worthless piece of junk that can't hold ejuice & rubber bands for o-rings... lmao... Let me go make some Tiger coils or Tidal wire or just do something with my coils since its time for my mid-week wick/coil change
Okay, I got today's mail & everything is in order. These are the cutest little spools of kanthal I've ever seen & I can't get over this itty-bitty, 40 ft box of rayon & of course the Twisted Messes 1:1 clone, supposedly.. It came in the identical little blue box as the authentic & the whole 9 yards, so maybe it is a 1:1 clone... I wish my phone was working so I could take a pic, especially for this little box of Cellucotton. I assumed it would've been a big box, but its about a half inch shorter than my Reuleaux RX200 with my Aromamizer RDTA on top.
AnyHoo, my TM clone has been soaking most of the day & I'm about to go scrub it down with a toothbrush & build a coil, to put in it. My drill has been charging all day, so I'm just gonna make a few simple coils.... maybe some Tidal wire, maybe a 4 strand twisted coil or perhaps I'll try my hand at a 26g kanthal fused Clapton coil.... ??? Hmmm... It'll only take 3-4 mins of a steady hand, to get at least one coil out of it, rii ?? Yeahhh... That sounds like a plan, I'll holla back at u guys in about an hour.. Wish me luck, at matter of fact... I think its hi time I figure out how to get Youtube on this new fangled 60' Vizio 40k sumtin or another, smartypants Tv I've had since last year

also got some20g n80 and did a 6wrap 1/8th with rayon at 100w, dam! its a nice vape! came to 0.14 or 0.15 ohms.
