This coil makes my juice taste funny, don't know why.

That wire must have been a little springy? A lot of times things are great till you start moving it all out of place by getting the wick through
Got the mage in today, it's my first drip style tank atty and I'm not feeling it yet. Air tube "chimney" is a pita to screw in. First attempt at building it leaked 2 tanks full, its my fault not enough cotton by the holes. Deck is to small to put anything bigger than a small gauge fused clap, I think? Other than looking good on the Rx I don't know. I'm going to give it a few builds but don't know if it's going to be around that long.
After Bodens lite advise I went and modified my goggles with a bigger magnifying lite. The led it came with went dull to quick with the little watch batteries so I also made use of an old 18350 battery....
I'm getting ready to conquer and build like the pros....lol yeah that will be the day!
I know this isn't anything big but I did it with a little help and I'm proud...hehe

I see screws in the picture, what are they for? Are they used in coil building?
I wrapped the clapton around the one closest.
I have several sizes and thread patterns because I started my RTA life using Ni200. If you don't space them, the load will bounce all over the place and so will your vape. A contact ni200 coil is basically a dead short.

It's absolutely delicious. Absolutely amazing. I originally wasn't going for a naked build. I was practicing with .5mm ribbon I had left and wanted to make see how the ribbons coiled with frames since I STILL have no luck getting them to coil properly without frames without twisting on me. That's my current challengeAwesome job Dude

So once I started unwrapping the staples I'm like hey this is going ok, so I kept going and ended up with a naked 6 ply framed with 24's. It tastes amazing. Definitely gonna do more ribbon builds in the near future. Just waiting for my wire order to arrive. Sigh, I hate waiting for vape mail

I need to buy another one of these rda's! I had a build running just like yours and the flavour was excellent!
I was thinking that what with the way the wick is sat in there reducing the chamber size and the way it has the small slit/gap between the posts that the vapor was being intensified as its mostly all channelled through the middle rather than swirling in an open void.
I broke mine i think by cranking it down onto my mech, the pos+ screw wouldn't stop screwing into the deck area, no matter where the screw sat the pos+ post wouldn't sit tight.

you don't like it with that 34g? originally i was going to take it off to make a 14x ribbon naked staple but then i remember a while back having trouble with ribbon moving and then the build looking crap so decided to leave it as is, it vape okay man! What is the magnification on your goggles Doc?
