The button update/ add on is beautifully designed and looks great. I dont know if its better looking , it makes the ELA look so different, almost like another model, ELA 2.0? Equally beautiful. Its really cool to have it be so "convertible" It will be nice to continue coming up with beautiful future components.

I remember reading that options in color for the accent rings might be another thing to bring in the future. Id love to see black and other colors. I just hope in the future the accent rings are offered separately not just as a set.

Got my bottoms as well. So all i need is the actual mod to put it on. Not sure why ordered the satin. Don't see myself ever getting a hold of one. But when I'm all in I'm ALL in.

I ordered a satin as well. Hopefully someday I'll find a satin ELA to put it on! Haven't received mine yet though. Due on the 13th.

Super-T's flat bottom button is pretty sweet. I have to be a little more deliberate now when firing as the button now has to be pressed down into that's sale slot. I have a satburn aftermarket button as well which is also nice but the quality behind the Super-T product is like night and day. The threads are crisp and the edges are spot on but not sharp. It's a winner!

I just setup my KFL with the nano upgrade and I'm liking it a lot. Shortens the overall height of the mod in 18350 mode without sacrificing the amount of juice it will hold. 6 wrap 28awg 1.0ohm microcoil with cotton wick. Awesome setup!

Where can I find the nano tank

Gr modders have them in stock mate. They have the silver and clear tank. Got them both and they make the kayfun even more Awesome.

They sell the Kir Fanis version which is pretty much the same. I would order the mini and med kit as then you will have the silver ring and just the clear window.

Where can I find the nano tank

a few pages back , theres a whole conversation about where to get them. I think there are a couple makers. Some come with the chimney and some dont.

Also on the Kayfun thread there is info on them.

Im sure someone will chime in soon.

Which looks better is a tough one. For me I think the original button looks best from a purely aesthetics point of view. That tapered housing to the button adds nice symmetry to the unit when considering that your topper tapers to its' tip. Sort of gives it a streamlined look and done so beautifully. But the flat button is a head turner in its' own right, but in a different way. Form to support tail-standing function with locking still in tact is awesome. I guess I'll use them this way. If I'm going to host one of my Gatsby black-tie parties, I'll configure with the tapered bottom, it just oozes class. When I'm on the short list for a NASA call-up, of course I'll be configured in flat bottom mode to meet the fiddly safety margin for misfires :)

I wish i could feel the same way you do about a scratch or dent. I use my mods. All of them. Some more than others and some have certain jobs they need to do for me - for instance some stay at the desk with me, some go out to the shops, some go on adventures and some are required to be there when i am either ...... off or happy. If any of them get a mark on them i start to feel different towards them. Like they have failed me or i have failed them in some way. In either case i try to ignore it, but at the back of my mind i know that mark is there and it kills me inside. The strange thing is i am not some crazy hermit in the woods which my behaviors and beliefs would suggest. I consider myself quite normal.

I didn't mean to sound cruel. Sorry if it came out that way.
Truth is I hate it when I drop any mod. But my hands go to sleep a lot and I can't grab and hold on to things. Don't know how many cups, glasses, and plates I've dropped and broken
That's why I take the attitude of scratched and dented. If I own it. It's just a matter of time before I drop it. Therefore I don't worry about it anymore.

Anyone else order their ELA and not the extension sleeve, then regret it afterwards. Not really a lot in there with a kick and 18490. :(

haha, yep :) The 18650 Kick extension is the only ELA component I don't have (well, except for a second ELA in satin, of course). I do regret not getting one, but I'm sure I'll be able to score one some time down the road and it's not like it's an absolute necessity to me.

By the powers bestowed in me as Magic Dragon Puff, I hereby cover Murphy with Drop Shield "T". This means Murphy can no longer apply his butterfingers mojo on any Super-T owner! If Murphy approaches this is what you will see, note his butterfingers mojo is locked up tighter than a drum with warning.

TIP: For those that have ordered/received the new flat ELA button caps, polish the inner surface of the cap and also the outer sidewall of the button. I found that the travel of my button was a bit crunchy, probably because the button has more surface area contacting the bottom cap compared to the stock cap. I sanded down the satin surface of the button using 600 grit, and then followed that with a Cape Cod cloth. I also polished the inner surface of the new cap. The action of the button is so smooth now...as if it's sliding on glass!
