To help answer some questions:
2. Will the dna module accept the top cap of the ELA so it uses its adjustable hybrid pin? That i don't know yet, still in the design phase of the DNA20 add on module.

Do inform us or direct us towards a new thread when you get closer to the release date. If I can't use the adjustable draw and/or the adjustable center pin I might rather go for a Kick and put the rba top cap instead. I guess the adjustable center pin thingy wouldn't really be necessary with that rba, but I'm not sure about the adjustable draw. If the RBA itself has an adjustable draw, then it's not a problem and you can just switch the RBA top cap with the default one if you wish to use a different atty and you'll still have the adjustable draw and center pin. Okay, okay. I realize this post is just me thinking out loud, but I can't help it. Maybe my thinking will help someone else

For me it was a no-brainer. Satin is more scratch resistant and, just in case that I don't like it, David said I can send the unit back and they will polish it. It doesn't work the other way around. I'm eager to see the 18650 decorative ring.

I am such a fan of satin that I even asked for the accent rings to be satinized instead of the default polished finish

EDIT: I stand corrected. It's the other way around. Doesn't change my mind about satin being the way to go though.

I'm sorry mintroverted, we must have had a mistunderstanding, i can't polish a satin finished unit. I can do the opposite though and go from polished to satin.

I know your considering making a single accent ring for 18650 mode, but can the accent rings be stacked to cover the gaps on the 18650 + Kick tube.....as well as just 18650? If this is possible, ordering a set in different finishes or material will open us up to some cool individual custom looks.

I agree. I'd also love to see an option for different finishes for the DNA 20 and the RBA module. That way I'd fulfill my dream of a hybrid-looking all-satin device.

Yes!! Please let us see a pic of the Satin ELA and a Polished ELA side by side!! I ordered the Satin ELA because Ilove the look of the P Plus in Satin!!
