Super-T ELA: Quality you can see! The ELA's internal finish is of higher quality then most competitors external finish is. Bringing the machining in house will definitely yield big dividends going forward in quality.

Precise ELA's extension tube interior finish VS. a popular competitors extension tube interior:

Wow! Point taken!
How does the thickness of the walls, or, the ela's overall weight compare?

David, I want to use a hybrid atty with the ELA and it utilizes a 20x1 connection (not sure what that signifies). This means, as far as I understood it, that the atty would replace the top cap of the mod which has that kind of a connection. I think that the GUS and the Caravella have this kind of a connection. Will it work on the ELA perhaps? The atty is a dripper, it is small and it would be perfect for the ELA with brass accents in 18350 mode, but if the ELA has different threading for the top cap, then there's no point

I think the 20x1 is for the thread diameter 20mm and the thread pitch of 1mm.

And by thread pitch it means that one full turn of a thread (360 degrees) would make that point exactly 1mm lower than the starting point? Hmmmmm, I don't know. I know the top cap diameter of ELA is 24mm, but that doesn't mean that the internal threads are wider than 20mm. I expect the thread pitch to be the real question, but you never know. A guy can dream

You are spot on ;). Most 20mm threads are a standard pitch 1.5mm or above so 1mm pitch is fine threading. Internal threads are narrower (female thread) discounting the thread depth and external thread (male) are wider so they can screw together ... did that sound filthy or is it just my perverse mind lol

The ELA is ordered, and I will patiently await it's arrival. Now, I would love some input from you experts on what to do with it!

My current vape is: Thermovape AVA RES, CR123 batteries stacked to run 6V, 510 AVA atomizer resting in a ceramic reservoir. Basically, I believe I am actually dripping, with the reservoir as a little backup.

I love the taste of a fresh drip. But, dripping can be a pain. I love lots of vape! I like the AVA atomizers, but I don't think they make them anymore. I try very hard to buy American Made. I love stainless steel! I don't like to have to fiddle with things much. I want to put it together, and just vape. I have issues left over from a stroke. Sometimes, my brain doesn't work real well. Sometimes, my hands don't work real well. Sometimes, my legs don't work real well. Well, in this instance, I guess the legs are irrelevant. But, other then that, I'm O.K.. Yes, the last two lines were supposed to be funny! I try! :)

What batteries should I run, and what should I put on top?

I am open for any suggestions you experts may have. Please keep in mind, I am a newbie. Please keep in mind, I have brain damage. :)

Thank you!!!!!!!

@Cucco... I wonder if one of those 4.8v batts will fit the ELA, for someone that would like a blast without fiddling too much with RBA's... on the other hand a Penelope RBA should work wonders too... not very hard to set up and with its tank you can just sit back and enjoy for along time.
