I would add that the display is attached with torx bit screws.

Not sure if that makes a difference or not though?

That's interesting. I wonder if it IS. I was under the impression that all of the newer ones had the magnified display.

Does anyone know if the coating on the ones is the same as the older ones? It was more durable than the regular blacks (which I annihilate).

I destroyed my original black one also. Zen polished it when he did my p3 top. It looks pretty amazing now.
