I love short ribs, and in fact went to buy some a couple of days ago, but the butcher was out, so I ended up with pork chops, which were delicious.

But, the recipe you linked to sounds terrific. I'll try it soon. Thanks.

It turned out really good!!
DH made it, he used shallots instead of onion, and decreases the amount used a little. But otherwise, he follows the recipe.
Today, he'll skim some of the fat off.
If you make enough that your leftovers will last a couple days, the flavor gets even better after sitting in the juices.
Couldn't copy and paste the "after" from my iPad, but will add it from my phone shortly.
