Thanks and I'm glad you found the video enlightening! I sincerely doubt many people ever knew how horrible our federal government treated citizens who are gay. For example, I wonder how many people know that J. Edgar Hoover, who the FBI is named after, was one of the most evil haters of gays in America. What's interesting to note was that while he was ruining the lives of hard working Americans, he was himself gay, living with a man. And Roy Kohn, who worked with the FBI and McCarthy to out "communists" and what they called the "lavender scare" himself died of Aids from his secret life as a gay man. Another interesting fact about Roy Kohn. He was a major mentor to Donald Trump. They spent years together as friend and advisor. That was until Trump learned his mentor was dying from Aids. Trump refused to speak with him again.

The surprise for me when I started vaping and got to interact with others on this journey is that it cut through all our differences in age, race, economic status, preferences and interests and brought us together over a simple thing: getting free of the curse of smoking. It has been refreshing to have vaping as a reminder that no matter how different people seem on the surface, we are 99.99% identical, while still being as unique as each snowflake.

True. A bunch of government hillbillies have to ruin it for everyone else in the state.

Cool that bands are doing this though. The majority of people in the state might not care or bother thinking about about gay rights, but they just might pay attention when they have to explain to their kids why Miley or Beiber (or whoever) won't play in their state.
