Exactly. Rod will be buying our Kabukis and nautilus tanks for pennies on the dollar once we figure out he owns the global supply on Nauti coils. Sneaky. Well played, but sneaky.

thankyouverymush! And uh, yes I will BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

This made me chuckle but it's sad, actually.

Well, my plan was to buy a few extra boxes each time I order, or when I have the cash. At worse, I'll have a bunch of coils I can use with or without the FDA's approval.

Well, I only got 10 boxes in the mail today. I've been buying the other boxes whenever I found them on sale. Maybe subconsciously, I had been preparing for the dooming regs before I even knew what might be banned.
I was getting ready for when Aspire quit making the coils. That lifetime warranty doesn't mean a damn thing when there are no coils for it.

We have some time... I never went crazy buying tons of stuff at a whack. Its not like we didn't have tons of time...I started two years ago when the deeming was first proposed. It' not like they weren't going to follow through on their intentions...I feel sad for the folks who didn't see the writing on the wall, were too late to the game, or just couldn't afford to sock some things away for a rainy day. Sadly, when times get tough, it always boils down to every man and women for themselves...human nature on a course of self preservation...

That's why I have some rebuildable Nautilus coils coming - figured that a few micro-coils, an illuminated magnifier and a supply of unbleached cotton will carry me a long way ...
Yeah, I was just telling Jackie about those tonight. She likes to rebuild. I figure I need 300 packs of coils to get me through another 40 years but that's not counting Jackie.

Where are you getting those? Is there a, "how to" video on that site?

eBay for the rebuildables - look for "VVTF KABUKI RBA DECK NAUTILUS"
The same search parameters will produce videos on YT explaining how to rebuild them - fiddly, and patience required, but you can build horizontal or vertical coils and wick to taste.

595 coils at this point. At 3 kabukis using 2 coils a month thats about 8 more years. Of course, a few may be duds. And i'll be soley diying juice by this time next year... So unless i'm a mixing whizz i may go to 2 flavours at a time versus the current 6 lol.

It's fine. My intention is to slowly taper down the nic and amount of flavoring, stopping within several years or having it be an occassional thing. I figure once the kabukis are done maybe i'll make em little tiny zen gardens. And use the kayfuns exclusively.

I feel real crappy for folks that don't know or just can't afford to pay it all up front.

I guess there's a little part of me that resents a hard stop being imposed, but the goal was never to be permanent anyways. i'll get a long goodbye.

..Unless some goblins take my stockpile or something in which case buckle up! :grr::w00t::lol:

Are you using these? If so, are they worth $10 each? Do you think they will last?

Edit... @ $16.50 shipped for two, I just decided to place the order. I will report back in a couple of years once they arrive from China.....

Considering what we might potentially face down the road, I feel there is no blasphemy in checking it out. I grabbed one as well several weeks ago and it appears it is on it's way to me on a slow boat from China.:w00t:
