yay! happy it got there safe and sound ...

Check your PM's on the *pin* question ;)

For those also wondering ... We decided to pin the Prodigy only for 1 way ... Meaning, we expected the pins to be lost within a week! So, if people need warranty work, they can pull the switch and plastic housing and shoot that to us instead of the entire Prodigy. The pins were actually inserted from us to help keep components in place during assembly :)

Thanks for the info Cash!

Warning #1: When y'all (yes I am from Texas) replace the atomizer adapters be sure to take the batteries out or your spring may rocket the switch right out of the prodigy!! If it does, don't worry, it slides right back into place easily.

Warning #2: When screwing on an 801 atomizer DO NOT screw it in all of the way unless you wish to break your atomizer. See picture. The adapter looks threaded to accommodate the wide range of positive post placement in 801 adapters. While this is good and definitely needed this means some atomizers (like the new puresmoker 3 holes) do not require even a full turn to attach to the adapter. Once you get the slightest amount of resistance stop! Do not keep twisting and then realize you broke your new atomizer like I did.

First impressions are still great! :)

A: LOL ... It shouldn't *Rocket* it ... Should only slide up about .75 - 1.0" LOL ... Another easy thing to do ... on the switch, the squared off end right next to the adapter ... Hold that with your finger as you unscrew the battery. Then when putting another adapter back on, hold down that same spot and you are golden :)

A: LOL ... As soon as you feel it snugg up, twist roughly another 1/8 - 1/4 turn and you're set. RN atomizers tend to sit further down, 801's sit further up :D

First impressions are still great! :)

See RED Frankly!

OK, maybe "rocket" was too strong of a term. Would "mildly jettison" work better? :) Thanks for the tip for replacing the adapter, it works great and is much easier now.

The atomizer was my fault, not the Prodigy, I just wanted to warn neanderthals like myself who tend to beat that damned square peg into that little round hole.

It's good. Very similar experience to my Mag Mod which runs at 6volts without the serious juice consumption. The flavor is slightly better on the prodigy than on my mag mod. The vapor has a good consistency, you feel the volume which is one 'analog' feeling that isn't recreated in many devices but is present in the Prodigy. I take very long draws typically (I have no problems hitting an eleven second cut-off) but don't need to with the prodigy. A 3-5 second drag is perfectly satisfying.

I think 5v may be where the "sweet spot" is. 6v is nice but can become harsh. A consistent delivery of 3.7 is nice but requires a long draw for big vapor. 5v delivers nice vapor with a short draw.
