I imagine the run-of-the-mill passthrough can be killed the same way batteries can... liquid can run in and ruin the switch. Add to it that many of them use flimsy wiring... one tough pull and you'll break a wire. Of course, both of those concerns have been fixed with the Puresmoker PT, I believe.

Lucky-

I'm a supplier but I'm a huge FAN of PV's :D Steve is great guy and I will always support and purchase what ever he comes out with! He has helped me out on some occasions and I can't thank the guy enough !

This is a huge task he has accomplished and it took a lot of guts to drop everything and start from scratch !!! KUDOS !!!:D

Lucky if you create something I will purchase from you as well !

Parked

P.S. Lucky thanks for the post card I got from you a couple months back
it made my day !

Parked, that's just way cool! Oh you're welcome on the card, thank you also for what you did!

thats what i figured too but when they said died it sounded as if its time was up instead of a more premature death but like you said it should be fixed withe puresmokers PT hopefully, i was just hoping they are pretty indestructible due to the price not that its to high just not low enough to purchase monthly.

Atleast we know you'll get a good 3 months out of each one ;) 3 Month warranty on PS USBpass' :)

Agreed. I can deal with batteries dse batteries dying every other month but I hope this is gonna be a long term deal. I'm also concerned about liquid dripping into the press switch area.

The Prodigy/USBpass is designed to collect excess liquid at the base of the atomizer ... There is actually a *reservoir* style ring ... Once you start to see liquid collect, grab the corner of the paper towel and stick down in there to soak up all the liquid :) I have been dripped 2+ months on my sealed parts and not one has broken its seal and leaked. :)
