Steve/Casey,

I received my Protege back today. The cap screws on as smooth as a baby's you-know-what.

Thank you for the excellent service (as usual).

Al

can you take a picture of the threads on the inside of where the battery goes? (where the end cap screws into)

i'd love to see if mine is the only one like this...

Bro, Why don't you just send it back and I am sure Steve will take care of it. If there is a problem.

i'm trying to side step doing that actually. i just want to know if all the threads are cut the same way.

maybe i've been .....ing about something that was just a bad one in the batch.

I'm trying to give PureSmoker's product a chance... considering i had to fix mine the same day i got it by resoldering the switch myself... there was Burrs all over it... etc... i'm really trying to like my protege.

Just one of those guys that want to pick everything apart and "talk" about how they would make it better. PUT UP, OR SHUT UP!!!

you're right i do pick everything apart (oh and talk about it) because i know what a GOOD PART is supposed to look like or be like, i was a machinist for 3 years and working in the R&D world of custom machinery for 5.5 years. next time you open a dannon yogurt --- WE BUILT THE MACHINE THAT MADE IT. --- And i ran EVERY part that had to be cut on a CNC. I KNOW what i'm talking about. if you think they did everything right, YOU are part of the reason why AMERICAN MADE isn't so AMERICAN MADE anymore... ALL of the pride of "AMERICAN MADE" has gone to CRAP because people don't care about quality and longevity anymore. they just think PUT UP or SHUT UP. right? (must be because you lay down and let people make CRAP and you EAT IT UP.)

I'm sure you do know what you're "talking" about. So, quit talking about it and make it. PM me when they are ready, I'll be your first customer.

Hick I sell hand crafted YoYo's mostly made of aluminum. Steve & Casey your lucky PV's don't have to spin at 10,000 rpm's and appear as if they're standing still. 8-o
I love my Protege!
