They're longevity as a company? Obivously they have longevity. They wouldn't be as big as they are if they didnt. I think they will more than survive the radius launc, they will thrive. There is obviously a market for low watt, quality devices. Can they add some more features? Sure. But their quality is unsurpassed by the rest of the market.
I actually think it's their size that would be the hindrance. If they were selling devices at the same clip as the first few generations, then they would be fine, but now they have all of the same expenses with considerably lower sales. It is very expensive to do what they do.
I still remember a few times I was at a vape shop and someone walked in with a Provari. Ooohs and aahs. Hundreds of forum posts daily. When a friend called me up to ask if I knew of Provari, I told him they are the best devices made. Now, they're basically just a good punchline for vape jokes.
The P3 was the first hint of stumble. I envision boxes of P3's stacked to the ceiling. But, this device really seems to reinforce it.
Evolv could've easily suffered the same fate. But, they hit a home run with the DNA200. So much so that the Chinese are buying from them.
Something odd is going on with this launch. Why aren't the typical reviewers getting the devices? I saw an article on the Radius on "The Street" and on "Spinfuel". Maybe they know this isn't a device for the reviewers. Maybe they haven't realized that the public's opinion matches the reviewers opinions pretty closely.
I agree that there is a market for low watt quality devices. I just don't know if those people are buying Provari's.
