Bit too sexy looking if you know what i mean. More so than the tesla even !.
Susan,
You can buy jwraps or go to serenitygear.net and get a very nice sleeve made of leather.(almost any color).
And that Q-Tip cleaning is just so annoying isn't it? Geez, and I have to do that at least ONCE a week.(or maybe it is just me)

The airflow issue is/was my main complaint, especially when I was using clearos. Now that I have found my way to carto tanks, it isn't as big of an issue since you can adjust the height of the tank on the cartomizer.
On another note, I own a mini and still wanted to get smaller. When I'm out and about, I now run in 350 mode with an IBTanked halfling carto tank on top. This, as far as I know, is as small as a mini can get with a tank of any kind installed and it works great for me!

I enjoy both of my Provari's. The only thing that drives me nuts, is the shallow 510 female connector. All of my RDA's don't fit snug. Always has a gap. Provape needs to design an adjustable pin.
My main downfall on the provari is it is severly outdated. No adjustable air flow. No flush mounting. No adjustable pin. No adjustable wattage. They were the best thing out there but now the neglect by the maker has alowed them to be out featured by china.
Absolutely. I can't believe how outdated they are. They're like a freaking Model T, Alanis Morissette and the Boston Celtics all rolled up into a freaking mod.
I don't know how anyone would even consider using one. I'd be embarrassed to just put a battery in it, much less leave the house...
Oh snap. Where did I put my sarcasm font? It's here somewhere, I know it is.
Yea, maybe it's not for everyone.....it may not be the "best they can do" but it is all they need to do.....again, not for everyone, we all have alot of choices and hope that we all find the "sweet spot" for PV's!!I looked at getting a Provari Mini. There are 2 things about it that made me decide to not purchase one at this time.
First and foremost is the 7 segment led display. Are we stuck in the 80's? I mean come on, oleds have been around for a long time. There are much better HMI's out there and this is the best they can do?
Second is the size/weight of it. Not really a fault of the device itself, but of my personal preferences. I need something that is very portable and rugged to carry to work with me. I thought the Provari would be the answer but not as of now. Maybe someday they will do some updating and then I will purchase one.
A negative I have is it doesnt use battery power very effeciently. The same 18650 lasts 40 percent longer in my dna 20 box at the same power level

As a ProVari owner I have to agree with the airflow complaint. I have read in other threads that Provape is aware of the problem. Guess it's a wait and see if they address it. I know that I am switching to a Genesis type atty for mine and using my bottom breathers on my Protovape. Even the Protank 2 that came with my ProVari will hardly work on mine. Now is that entirely the ProVari's fault, no, but it's something that deeper cross cuts in the connector would help for example.
Oh dear! If the ProVari is outdated, does that mean I'm using a time machine when I vape my Reo? Good God man! A box, a bottle, a battery and an atty , can it be more low-tech? I guess it's even too primitive for China to waste their time cloning. And features? How does zip grab you? No adjusting watts, unless you have - Please Lord don't say it! - a working knowledge of Ohm's Law.* This time next year I'll bet when you ask people about a "Reo" they'll assume you mean the Duran Duran song....
*Just so you know, you can change the watts by adjusting the resistance of the attys you are using.

All of these Provari threads are so much fun to read through.
I wonder if it has ever occurred to those who loudly proclaim they don't want a ProVari that we might prefer they not get one either?

My issue is I can't get any of my protanks to work on it. You have to have it so loose on the threads to get any airflow. I've tried all six of my protanks first and second gen ones with no luck. Had to go out and buy some I clear 30's for the time being which I'm not too fond of. Not too keen on using an adapter it kills the aesthetics. Guess my protanks will be stuck with my vamo v3 from now on.
