Looks like that makes two of us. I am bringing a few evod heads that need rebuilding for someone to have. I am bringing my Igo-L that just needs a rewick and an unkown type of dripper that I am going to attempt a coil on. Oh, and I bought that Gizmo coil winding thingy and I am bringing that too. And cotton, and wire, and........ Should be fun. Going to have to bring a large pocketbook to carry the stuff.

We will be coil winding wizards yet!

I am going to a vape meet tomorrow. I am going to take everything with me and see if someone will show me how to do it. I have watched several videos, but maybe 'in person' will help me more!

I have a question. Let's say you have a great coil on your atty. Can you take that coil off without damaging it and then make/mount a different coil? Will the one you take off be able to be put back on at a later time, or is it dead and ruined? I only have the one Igo-L up and running so it matters to me. I would hate to ruin a great coil (that someone else built for me). I have not built a usable coil yet.

Those of you trying to coil the spheroid I think Q called it the ....o coil or something if you want to look it up. Supposedly it's the way to go if you run cotton. If you PM him I'm sure he'd pass the knowledge. (Qorax)

I don't need fancy setups. Don't know what an "o coil" is but my micro had been doing great.
Even figuring out the right amount/length of cotton was easy.

Now the one I had a bit of difficulty first setting up was the Steam Machine VST and finding the ceramic cup for it has relegated it to every so often use.

What are you finding the easiest to wrap your coils on? Nail, toothpick...I've heard so many different things.

:) Great Shari--I will see you there! We can take the class together.

I am also excited because my daughter bought her "soon to be fiance" a Stealth Provari for his Birthday--we are going to have a little lunch and have a B'day party for him before it starts, and she is going to give him his present. I am bringing him some cartos and juice, and a few drip tips. Come and find us and have a Birthday cupcake! :)

You can with most setups but you run the risk of damaging the coil. Honestly if it ain't broke....

I know, I know. But I am brand new at this and do not have the attys to mount trial coils on and the vape meet is tomorrow. Maybe I will have to buy an atty there.

The biggest problem with "saving coils" would be that you would have already clipped off the excess leads. I can't imagine how difficult it would be trying to mount it again.

That makes major sense. I forgot all about trimming the ends. I can not do the evod/protank head builds because the area is just so tiny. Yeah, guess it will not work. Oh well, it was a thought.

I still do not have a clue at what ohms I really want to vape at. It is silly because I have been vaping almost 8 months and pretty much only using 2.3ohm 510 attys to drip into. So there is a whole world out there now. Especially since I have a second Provari Mini now.

I have a Russian 91% on the way, but that will not get here till some time in May. I thought about carto tanks but I vape Ahlusion juices and they all say the nuances get lost and flavors are muted in carto tanks and clearos. So I am at a standstill.

I usually use a drill bit or a steel transfer punch because I have lots of drill bits in different sizes and a transfer punch set comes with different size mandrels.

Well it's over 10000 now!! YAY!

Tina: have you tried any more of the juices??? Hope you are enjoying them!!

I love them! Tried the cotton candy and the cake batter one too. Love them both. I need more tanks. Haha. That or I'm gonna go into nic overload cause I'm determined to try them all. I'm dizzy. ;). But they are awesome!!!!! Thank you so much.

I wish I knew someone here who knew how to do that. None of my friends even vape. I'm all by my lonesome here.
