an inch can make a big difference.

I guess that depends on who you ask. ;)

:nun:  :nun:  :nun:  ...

;)

True & true!

I reckon I should have clarified though, that I believe all can feel comfortable that they'll be able to run their Provis, with or without little bats.

I mean, BATTS! :D

Thanks E
FACT: On average a jar of Nutella is sold every 2.5 seconds.
I was going to take a picture with a jar of Nutella but figured MOST people wouldn't get it
So decided on the pelican, because I wouldn't get it either ... ya know ...

All of you have to stop this! Now I have a crazy need for a piece of pie and a cuppa, and there's not one within miles.

At one time greasy spoon cafes roamed the earth and a guy could get a piece of real handmade (not frozen, not McD deep fried, not Little Debbie) pie for a nightcap.

Civilization is doomed.

Man, I'm losing it. I was just sitting in my entertainment room playing pinball on the Xbox One X and thought I saw a bat fly through the hall (parlor). I grabbed the badminton racket I keep next to me in there and went to the john but I didn't see it. Geez, I'm gonna start walking around here with said racket strapped to my side. Jackie keeps one next to the bed. I called Bat guy after the last incident and twice since to remind him. Tuesday he said he's been waiting for it to cool down so he doesn't die in the attic. Whatever. Better than me dying taking another one out. Fall of 2016 I paid him $600 to take care of the problem. Since then, I've whacked seven of them. Can't imagine how many it would have without the copper mesh he used to plug possible entrances and the two exclusion traps he installed where you could tell the filthy flying rodents were actually coming in and out. He put one up fall 2016 and another one last summer. Jackie's talking about putting up bat houses for them to live in. I don't get it, we have a garage with it's own attic and basement they could live in and we wouldn't care. We even took care of the squirrels if that's what they were afraid of. Hell, I let mama bird and her babies live out there until they left before taking out the nest. If these damn rodents would just work with us, they could live long lives. I really don't ask for much, just don't terrorize us and destroy our vehicles. The neighborhood cats are smart enough to figure that one out. So are the birds, they even get fed...

Well hi there! Yeah, when we first started talking about bikes, I went up into the city of Raleigh and visited a shop I found online, they are a performance shop, and to be honest, not one single bike in there was remotely interesting to me, all carbon fiber, and pretty much everything waaaaay out of our price range. I was like, what in the world happened while I was not looking?

Going used I got into three bikes, a 1992 Trek 800 mountain track, a 1995 Trek 370 Sport road bike, this one needed a lot of work to it, and the 1981 Austro Daimler, all for quite a bit less than what I was seeing entry level bikes selling for, I enjoy working on stuff so this has been fun, and rewarding in a couple different ways. Actually, two of the three I bartered for with things I was no longer interested in, so really short money in the end...

Once upon a time my wife and I were riding 125~150 miles a week and had very expensive bicycles. I did most of the work on them except bearings in the bottom bracket and head tube. I had all the fancy tools including a third hand. Riding was fun and so was working on them. But right now as hot as it I cannot understand how I did it.

And I forgot to mention, congrats on your purchases. They sound very nice.

Thanks, they all roll pretty good, been a few wheel bearings cleaned and repacked, and one bottom bracket, not too hard a job really. A can of grease, a couple of caged bearings, shop labor would have killed me getting these things to where I wanted them. You tube has a wealth of really great info on how to's these days.
