That was pretty good. I am a big proponent of people knowing their rights, although I am just as liable as the next person to have my mind go blank if it ever comes down. Ack.

DAMN! Thanks for sharing your story, everyday when I'm driving around and vaping w/ my windows up I think about the day a cop is going to pull me over because it seems like I'm smoking something else lol... Cause who in their right mind would hotbox a cigarette, lol?

i was thinking the other day, on an airplane you would want a device that looks less like a cigarette.

while driving you want one that looks exactly like one so you cant be spotted with something suspicious.

LOL don't know if theyre vaping donut flavor...but we have a friend who is a county sheriff and he got 3 orders for us from work so some of em are more aware than others I guess.

My peoples do that all the time.

As for the cop I would be a complete ...... frankly...he can see the device, open it up, see no drugs, and smell the car and tell INSTANTLY whether or not there were drugs in it. That would take all of 5 seconds. I understand his pulling you over not knowing what it is but a good cop would have apologized, looked at your device to learn for his benefit as to not make the same mistake again, had a laugh and send you on your way.

I wouldve have been chiefing the e-cig the entire time and made sure he saw me vapin it in my car, like he told me not to, as I left.

You cant tell me not to do something that is legal Judge Dredd.

Its just fun pushing a cops buttons when they are completely in the wrong and wont admit they made a mistake. If you arent doing anything illegal they cant do anything, at all. This. How stupid would a person have to be to be toking on some sort of drug pipe at a red light? How often has he seen someone doing that in his policing career?

Although I am not a police officer. I do swim in the same end of the gene pool as the police do.

I did see someone (edit) yesterday while driving through a parking lot. Our society has a large population of stupid. And to be honest, some of the modded vaporizers do look like they are for illicit purposes.

I skipped over like 20 pages so if this was already touched on I apologize.
I know there is to be no drug talk in here although I haven't read the sticky. As I have had mostly unwarented bad experiencees with law enforcement I rarely speak for their side. However even though I think it completely wrong for him to search your car, I feel he had a right to pull you over and inspect your gear and state of mind. I'm not sure if any of you know this but it is possible to vapes illegal substances through your ecigs and I am sure that law enforcement is aware of this as well. This just means that this could happen again and again would be warranted. It is unfortunate but that is the way it is. You may also get pulled over if an officer sees you drinking sonthing out of a brown bag. I would have never allowed him to search my ride as if he were to tear something up in the process it would be tough luck as lawenforcement isn't liable for damages that happen durring a search. They could have brought in a dog and as long as you are clean they can't even open a door. There are some really stupid people out there who more than likely smoke up and drink up and do all other kinds of illegal stuff while driving down the road so this is bound to happen.
