Hi guys... im kinda new to this and ive been doing alotta research for a few weeks.. and so i finally decided to join and start posting some questions... many threads end up mentioning you steve, and how well you run puresmoker.com...

i'm looking for the pilot m401 starter kit, matte black.. but its not on your site. I was wondering how to get it from your site? I saw that it was on the UK site e-cigs.co.uk... but i live in toronto and dont want the shipping to be too pricey.

So, Steve, how would i buy this from you?

Hey Big ...

Unfortunately, the Pilot (M401) wasn't too popular, and we lost a shipment to customs - thus resulting in us not carrying it anymore.

I would normally recommend dietSMOKES.com for your M-series needs, however, he seems to be out of stock.

Next best bet is LiteCigUSA (found at LitecigUSA) He carries all 3 versions of the M-series (M401/402/403) plus a hybrid kit like we used to carry!

We did this regularly at my job if we couldn't provide what the customer was asking for. It's good business. People will come back to you next time when they want something you DO have. I've seen it happen repeatedly, and people will tell you flat-out that's why they're back. Of course, my last day is tomorrow due to downsizing, but I blame that on the owner for not advertising or keeping up with tech and not modernizing/diversifying stock. Breaking into the 21st century would've helped (we still used old-fashioned cash registers and fax machines to communicate between store locations).

I checked for the PTs 3 times today THere was a tweet that they had a very limited stock today and I tried but they were already sold out apparently-as I couldnt get them in my cart but they shipped out a WHOLE bunch of protegys today including my prodigy and protegy. I too have been SO impressed with both of them. Very good on the customer service casey!!

I already have a Prodigy, which I am MORE than satisfied with. But now I see the Protégé and I can't help but wonder, is this an improved version? If so, I want! What's the difference? Any amateur user reviews here?

Any idea on when you'll have some 801 Atomizers in stock. I had really bad luck on my last order 3 black 801s one DOA (didn't get around to making a ticket on it) another simply awol I just can't figure out what the hell I did with it. and my 3rd just died a couple minutes ago.
So I go to order more and I can't select any color.

I'm down to one short bridge that still works (it's pretty old so I'm concerned about how long it will hold out) and one long bridge that got run through the wash and still tasted funny after it's last bath (washed it again will see if it tastes right tonight.)

So are we talking days or weeks?

No. It's a totally different device. Considerably smaller and only capable of 3.7v.

It looks that way... We also got in before the price jumped up. I feel lucky.. Or smart...lol..

I was really surprised at how fast that SD went. I think the Protege will be a much better PV than the SD. I really didn't like the bottom button.

I think I will be drilling a real small hole in the adaptor for the Protege for a lanyard... That was the nice thing about the SD.. After I have had a chance to break it in that is.

I don't see the change in price as a big deal.
If you look at the Protege full kit, it comes with everything. Batteries (2), great charger, and an extra atty. If you order the unit only it's only $89.00

Their are hack mods with radio shack buttons selling for $75 - 80.

I still think it's a heckofa deal. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding.
Definately ain't just another flashlight mod.

I don't mind paying a little more for quality.

Are California customers pretty much screwed with the ban?
My PT is being sent in for repairs and my recently ordered protege is not shipped yet so i am forced to use my old made in china Ecigs. You can't use thiese things after using the new PS brand. I don't know how much longer i can bare using this thing. Now I think i could be cut off forever.

if this ban happens then am i cut off? Damn you California! Damn you to hell!
