Robl45 - re: C8 juice in mouth - I get that once in a while - I suspect (like with Vision mouthpiece) it is condensation, not actual juice leakage. Thanks to earlier posters here, I have adopted the habit of a slight puff INTO the mouthpiece before hitting the fire button, and that has greatly reduced the number of "juicy hits" I get, also eliminates the dry hit harshness.
I have been hypervigilant for leaks on this carto, haven't experienced any since it got broken in (somewhere after half a tank). First fill was sideways, I couldn't fill it all the way due to dribbles from the second fill hole; cured that problem by leaving one of the plug nipples in place on refilling, just twisted the plug sideways enough to insert syringe needle and fill SLOWLY upside down, leaving only a small air bubble (works better than totally full, which seemed to encourage leaking into the battery connection). Since then it's been working great for me. Thanks to all the people who posted about their early experience.
I am using this C8 on regular old eGo batts, probably 10-12 fills or more by now. Loving the churro juice I put in it so much, I have not yet tried cleaning it. I find it is not suitable for chain vaping but it sure is nice in rotation of multiple PVs (flavor junkie, I am). Flavor remains consistently good, AND it's conservative on juice consumption. I wish there had been caps available, if so I would be more inclined to take it out of the house.
It seems the v3 is a vast improvement; I didn't experience earlier versions, having somehow missed the product announcement. I have a second C8 that I haven't filled yet, hope it is as nice as my first. I think the flavor is great (at least, it is fantastic with my aged churro juice from AltCig - very true taste) - although it was frustrating during the break-in period. I am glad I stuck with it through that initial phase, a couple of weeks have passed since then and I really like it.
More later, but I wanted to post in favor of the C8 so far. I wonder how many v1 and v2 users were too burned out by the early problems to bother trying v3?
