Why is the price the same if it is going mainline? I thought we were getting Alpha products at cost. Just curious when I saw it on the site the other day. It would make sense to me that the price would go up when it goes "public".:2c:

EDIT I meant to quote the post about the dongle going mainstream...

I'm confused. I can't find where he said how much it would cost on the main line. It's still listed in Alpha on the site, too. Unless I didn't see it somewhere else. I'm sure the price would be higher on the main site. I mean, it's far better than the Vornado and it's $15 on sale, $20 regular price.

I came up with the perfect name in tribute to us. The Alpha I, or Alpha One, or even just the Alpha. I know you guys like the non-silly names for most of your products and you want something that'll appeal to hardcore types that want something that sounds like it's serious business.

Alpha because the Alpha team tested it and One (I) because it's the first to make the cut.

I have recently received tickets on ALPHA products and part of the rules of this program is no tickets, no warranties, etc. We are offering these procucts, most of the time, below cost. Your buy-in is that sometimes there can be issues the upside is of course, tremendous deals on upcoming and new product and technology and the occassional free E3. We never knowingly though, send out an ALPHA product and know it has issues. For instance earlier yesterday I did find issues with our shipment of E3's and we simply wouldn't even make them available for purchase (even though many of them are probably OK). We instead are just giving them away to our ALPHA members.

This is just a reminder...if someone is in ALPHA and looked over that part of the program please be aware of it now. If it is not something you can live with then of course, don't purchase inside of the ALPHA program.

ps - most of you have been VERY good about the spirit of the program I just wanted to get this clarified as we had three recent tickets, two of them about Rockets...

No tweaks...it seems like the issues weren't major other than occassional switching of voltages that might occur depending on alot of variables from what you are using for your power supply to what carto you are vapign with. Overall for the price I think those are quirks here and there but not enough to keep them out of main because of the overall value...

Out of curiosity, what kinds of tweaks did they make to the dongle? Seems like the only issue was the volt switching on some of them. Did they pinpoint the cause?

APOLLO E2

Received my purple 900mah E2 and tank yesterday... ordered on Thursday afternoon, that's super fast from Texas to upstate NY!! Out of the box, it looks more blue than purple, but in the right light it's a lovely deep purple. Threw it on the charger and within an hour it was fully charged. Filled the tank with some 70/30 plumberry juice and let it sit for the hour it took to charge the batt. This tank definitely needs a bit of break-in. The first few pulls were weak, almost no vapor and no TH. I've not had very good luck with any clearo I've tried, and I've tried a bunch and all I could think was.. yuk! I always wonder if I'm doing something wrong,, I just don't get the great flavor and vapor that everyone else seems to get from clearos.. including the vivi. I decided to take it to work, see if that tank would break in, and see if the batt would last a whole shift and a bit beyond like my Twists do. I can say the battery lasted the entire shift (I'm able to vape a lot at work) and it's still going strong this morning. I love the bands that light up,, us girls love a little bling! It's big, but still fits in my pocket. It fits nicely in my hand and I think the 650, for me, would be too small. As for the tank,, I suffered through that first tank, and it did improve as I used it. I make sure I tip it occasionally and I've only had a few dry, burnt tasting hits. A little tip and swirl seems to remedy that. I vaped through over half the first tank last night, topped it off this morning and the vapor and TH have much improved. I have an Apollo tank that I bought a couple months ago and just never liked it. I don't know if these are an improved version, but this one is definitely vaping far better than my old one.

I'm enjoying the Apollo very much. It's pretty, it works well, the battery life so far is excellent. After a little break in period, the flavor and vapor from the tank are very good. I do have one question.. does anyone know what kind of voltage these things kick out? My little meter won't register.. my little Ego passthrough registers 3.9, my Twists register exactly what I have them set at, but my little meter just blinks when I put in on the Apollo. Just curious.

On another note... my second Rocket is going strong. I do still have some issues with some of my DCTs not firing. I filed the top down a bit, but apparently need to file it down just a tad more. I'm very careful not to put anything that shows any signs of leaking on it (lesson learned!) but overall I love this device. I think if they could seal the body better and beef up that bottom cap a bit, it would be a real winner. It's a winner in my limited experience, anyway.

BTW... welcome to the new members!! We got a good thing goin here... hope you enjoy it as much as I do :)

After 3 days of use and 18 ml of the same Flux juice I am calling this guy a winner. Nothing has changed since my initial impressions which were all good. I hope to get replacement clearos. I am still impressed with the amount of vapor this little guy is putting out.

Apollo
After 24 hrs I am not very happy with this procuct at all. The only positive thing I have to say is that it looks really cool. Constant dry hits or totally floded. There is no middle ground. I have put this 6 ml tank on a vv device to see if I could dial it in, and nothing came of that. Just now I had the 6ml tank on the 650 batt and I noticed my hand was getting wet. I removed the tank from the batt and there was at least a 1/2 ml of juice in the connection area, making its way all over the batt. I am very hesitant to attempt the 10 ml tank. I will prob mod the 6ml and if that yields positive results we shall move on from there.
