I'm still on the fence with this one, remade wick with ss 325, ran a separate piece up the hole (roll it really small and cut on a diagonal) and wrapped it back under coil and it works well, just don't like the tank thing.

This thing would be awsome if it had a separate top that could use regular drip tips and screwed straight on to the atomiser part so it could be used for dripping.

Would be nice if ours had the shorter posts and the screws on top. I measured mine and there is only 3/32" clearance between the posts and screw on cap on the one I have. Pretty minimal space for the coil to be on top without grounding on the cap or getting smooshed between the cap and posts. Mine is sitting in a parts box and that's where it'll stay.

I punched a hole into the tank just big enough for my needle tip bottle. Works great for direct dripping. It ruins the tank for filling because it takes the vacuum effect away but mine never fed fast enough for me anyways.

I got my latest order today ....C9 & HyperSRT (coils for both & extra wick), E1reload & E3 freebie .

I will report back as I check 'em out ...they just got here .:D

The one odd thing I can see already is the E3 freebie is a wonderful color...but has a huge crack & NO head inside ?? So basically just a spare base & mouth piece .

The E1 is pretty cool lookin' & feels really solid as does the Hyper SRT .

CE9 can be used for dripping ..the spike pops off, use a small flathead scewdriver or I used tweezer and just stick it in the slot on the side of the spike and pop it off. Im using a cart from an Ego cone atomizer as a driptip..fits perfect

That looks like the direction I'll ultimately take with this thing too. Probably the only thing I might hold out for is an order for SS mesh try that little mesh feeder wick from the video above (as well as for the Hyper SRT wick replacement).

I just can't get this to wick properly. Easy enough to coil the thing and get that part solid, but feeding from tanks? Ugh. Not my forte it seems.

Overall build quality is OK, but this thing is just too hard. The Pheonix Bully Rebuildable on the other hand has been working EXCELLENT for me.

C9 rebuildable
I have been playin' w/the C9 this evening & If you can make a ego-t wick, these DO WORK.

Setting up the unit ...
I stuck wick in flame from gas stove top...till it all glowed...blew off any stray fibers...
...then primed w/vg ....I made a wick & got it in place, primed it also & put it all together.
It works just like an ego-t .

Ego-Twick1.jpg

dug up out of photobucket from last year ...
got tired of trying to explain "how to" in words ...
excuse crappiness please

...oh & remembered that you do need to trim wick flush w/angle on spike, if you leave wick extending up into tank ,you will get dry hits ...WHY?... I do not know  & just leave a short tuft on the bottom side .That one long coil wick is long enough to help the transfer of the liquid from one wick to the other ....

I DID NOT try to set it up without the spike wick ...in hindsight I probably should have for testing purposes ...but didn't  I JUST CAN'T IMAGINE it workin' w/out spike wick...:glare: I will try it next time I have wick out ...but it is working @the moment ... so I'm NOT messin' w/it NOW!

oh & it works good on rocket, but makes a high pitched whine when I press button
won't work on my ego batts, led's just flash ....thinkin' I NEED to check w/meter tomorrow .
B-4 I fry batteries or something ??? Twist worked for a few hits then started flashing ???
