Vision TOX

Addendum: Need to hot glue googly eye, brass button or summat to fire button.
I feel foolish when I find myself pressing the +/- buttons & mod no fire.

I cover the screen with my index (like the feel of hiding it) leaves only the thumb to push only the button :D So trained now it's innate. Middle just lands under +/- buttons... By far my most fave vape I have gotten my hands on to date glad to see Tox reports. GO team Vision!

Kanger TØ 1.2ml BC

I got in on this one late, but still wanted to add my comments.

Initially the TØ was easy to fill, had a good flavor, and full vapor. I experienced no leaks initially, but did find a drip of seepage through the bottom when refilling - not a big deal, but may be messy refilling on the go. Although not an deal breaker, the w (or is it the f) fitting is inconvenient, but more acceptable than the small capacity. I would like to see the same form factor (or better, a 510) in a 2.5 to 3ml size. Ohm stayed between 2.4 & 2.5 during five fills.

On the 3rd fill I did notice a propensity to dry hits which was remedied by pugging the air holes and giving a stiff draw. Sadly, that didn’t last for long and had to be performed repeatedly. Rinsing the clearo also didn’t eliminate the problem and changing to a pv with lower voltage (-3v) helped, but wasn’t a fix. It could be simply under wicking, but trying different juices didn’t seem to make a difference.

After 5 fills, I’m going to give a good clean and see if it returns to its original vigor. I would like to see this in a higher ohm and with a larger capacity. The TØ is definitely better than many of the other BC’s I’ve used and I still have hopes for this one, but since it’s more of a lowered coil than a BC it’s hard to compare.

I gave up on mine very quickly. I have a cut out picture somewhere in this thread. Good luck cleaning it. The center tube is polyfill. Pretty much impossible to thoroughly clean them.
On another note the Kanger T3's are right around the corner. True bottom coil with excellent capacity and work pretty well.

Tank looks cool, has a nice feel to it and not cheap feeling. Easy to fill with little issues or spilling unless you try to go to fast directly from the bottle.

Flavor from this tank seems to be really good, only a tad muted, but overall very impressed with that aspect of the tank.

Dry hits every so often as you run the juice done, the tip method works well, but you have to be careful or it will flood.

My biggest issue is the leaking and gurgling, even without tipping. I am constantly having leaking through the bottom of the base, on the inside of the eGo skirting. My center post is severely kicked off to one side. Top of the ait tube is pushed against one side of the opening and I have to put my drip tip on just right so it can make it slide to the middle. I am going to finish this tank, my second one through it, clean it and give it a good inspection. Going to see if there is a reason for the bend and if it has caused cracking along the base.

Will update in a day or two.

Ok I have had the Apollo's for about 5 or 6 days and I have to say they aren't that great. The center post keeps coming loose and to tighten it you pretty much have to take the thing apart, removing your juice and everything. The flavor isn't great with these tanks and the post coming loose make me give these a 2out of 5 stars...They sure are cool looking tanks though, it's too bad they don't work as well as I wanted them to ...

I am actually getting good taste at 4.2 volts. The center post is a huge problem. I think it is where the leaking issue stems from, I don't think these are ready till the leaking is fixed. Maybe a center support would give it better stability due to its length. If this was a full retail item I would not buy one again, as it sits now.

The center post is pushed against the side with a lot of pressure on it. I have tried several times to stop it from happening but it continually goes right back. The seal is not maintained and it causes it to leak down the air intake tube. Sometimes you can't get the drip tip on unless you do it on an angel in order to move the tube to center. Once it is on it keeps pushing it to off center and it leaks.

When you draw it starts to gurgle as it brings up either wicked juice or juice from tipping the tank. Again it then goes down the intake tube.

Just did some surgery on my tank. Pulled it apart and re-aligned the ENTIRE assembly and got it to sit center. It no longer pushes against the center of the top chrome retention ring. Tried a few tips and flips with the tank and it seemed to fix my leaking/gurgling issues. Spent the last hour using it and the keyword in that last sentence was 'seemed', as it started to gurgle and get juice down the tube within four or five average pulls. I have tried several drawing styles, they all end up at the same place, light gurgle that turns to flooded gurgle, then leaking at base.

I decided to wipe it all down one last time and get a shot of the center pole right after I took a couple of medium hits.

Gotta love camera phones

Yes that is juice coming up between the gasket and the center post for the intake. My tank is not over filled, it is just above the window line on the tank. It appears to be pulling it up there as it wicks the juice to the coil. If my thinking is flawed someone please let me know.

Juice up there does not mean a bad seal on top. That is just condensation from the vape. I get huge ponds on the top of my mini vivi nova's. Just have to soak it up with a paper towel once or twice a tank. The only time it would cause stem leakage would be if it got higher than the top of the cone tip and dribbled back down. (Another reason why I like the split tank versions like the SplitFire. 99% of all condensation just stays in the top tank portion. The only way you can get a mouthfull of juice with those would probably be if you vaped them upside down.) All your problems are below that point. Seems like just plain overwicking to me causing your gurgling. But this is just my thoughts since I never got one of those. Just looked to weird to me.

I get condensation as well in my ViVi as well as my other tanks, but this is juice, pure juice. The tip comes out soaked at the bottom with juice as well. This happens after one or two draws and by the third you have to stop and clean up the juice from the top and from the 510 connection. The well in the battery is soaked with juice. I get lucky every so often and can get a few more draws before it is gurgling so bad I have to stop and clean it. Condensation would be all over the well, in different areas, not pooling up from one location.

Here is a full size crop of that image.

There is no other liquid or condensation anywhere but where that silicone condom meets the metal air intake post and as I said it was just cleaned prior. I have a replacement stem on the way and I will test it with the new one when it gets here. I just don't think it is simply condensation causing it to flood and leak.

You may be right. Like I said I am just guessing and never bought one of these. Good luck on getting it working to your satisfaction.

Since it is an Alpha product, hoping to get it working to Got Vapes customers satisfaction. I like the tank, thats what sucks, above 4volts it has decent flavor and holds a whole lot of juice. I do appreciate your input though, thank you.
