I had my first leak yesterday, does that count? Lost about 1ml out onto the desk, and it gurgles and sputters now. If I blow it out, it is ok for a little while and then starts up again..

I'm gonna swap it tomorrow and see if it continues with a new atty. (This is the 3rd or 4th fill of that tank, and I stripped it once for cleaning to change flavors. Otherwise I just lowered it and filled, sometimes with a bottle and sometimes with a tank tool.)

I stopped counting at tank 10 >,<

Adding:
I will note expect to a brief stent rewiring a monstermesh I have used nothing else after I picked up the raven.

After my last go-round with dry hits I tossed the first one. Haven't felt like trying again. Might wait a while for someone to post an "Idiot's Guide" to prepping and filling. Again. I swear I've watched a lot of 'em and I just KNOW I'm doing somethin' wrong. But stuff is not good around here at the moment and I don't need an added frustration.

I still believe it's a solid product. I think my brains are screwing with me, LOTS of things aren't working right all of a sudden. Not just my vape gear. So it's me.

Stripped for cleaning. Separate into 2 parts, rinse and dry the tank, wipe the outside of the atty. (Then reassemble and fill.)

I've done that to another one and it isn't leaking, so I don't think that's it, but that is the only 'trauma' it has undergone.

Think I will give that I try soon :D.Thank you.

Thanks gang, I appreciate the support. I don't want to turn this into my own personal blog post....short version (just so I can vent a little)

My mother's health is deteriorating. Started with a possibly broken knee, now she might have had a mild stroke. And maybe the flu.
My grandmother is beginning to show signs of Alzheimer's. My father is having to work lots of overtime since the only income we have is his security guard job at the hospital, and my disability check. Funds are tight.

AND I've got something new going on with my guts and the docs aren't sure what it is so I'll have to have exploratory surgery soon, but I don't want to do that until we get my mom "stabilized" since I'm usually the "caretaker" for both her and my grandmother.

Errggh. Sorry to ramble but I know you guys know how tough it can be. I'll get through it. Things could always be worse!

Sending ya much love and understanding. Being on disability myself I can relate to the stress that one check a month can bring with it.

The Raven on the Blade mod, hits like a ton of bricks with this setup. GotVapes might want to look at this mechanical mod. It is a nicely constructed Alpha Max clone.

But if you use the same battery and Raven on any other mechanical mod... it would hit with the same "ton of bricks"...

Out of curiosity, how much effect does a battery have on the performance of any device? I like to have my vaping equipment be small and slim so I stick with the Twist, but sometimes I wonder if my lackluster experiences with clearos and tanks that other people feel are the bomb are due to using a twist and not some other battery. For some reason though I ust don't like looking/feeling like I have a deactivated lightsaber in my hand when I'm vaping.

It is about the power ( watts ) you prefer to vape at and whether or not your PV can provide enough voltage to the amount of ohms ( resistance ) the device you have chosen... More than likely, a Twist or Spinner can get you to the voltage you'd like... then the only issue becomes how long the battery will last at that setting.
