Ok, I'm new at posting on ECF and REF but I have been eyeing your alpha program for about a year... You have some of the most interesting things their... But now I know... So next thing I need I will order from you... I'm thinking T3 and iClear30 replacement heads, I know I can rebuild them but having an extra 5 each would make it easyer... Then a AGI and a glass AGA... I'm co-oping (risky!) a charger 2x18650 2x18350 and a 18500... (Will probably need to get some good quality eventually) Still need a good mech to replace my ThermoVape that lasted my first year, (one Carto for the hole year) but I left it on my car when I drove away... Lost 2 in one case... 400$ down the drain but got good use out of it. Also going to order some mesh/wire/ceramic/silica for RSST when I get my replacement.

Edited in order to explain the risky co-op I joined, personally I will never co-op anything from a non-webstore (supplier site). I know there are people making google spreadsheets and other group buying FB people, but they will never get my money because there is far too much risk. And I like my credit rating.

i finally got some tobacco flavors in the e solid, so i can give it a decent review:

i still am not happy with the flavors-they all taste kind of "meh", even the ry4, which i was hoping would be somewhat vape-able, for me at least, since i'm a tobacco type of person. however, i am not getting much flavor out of it. i think this may be due to an airflow issue, which i fear may be part of the design. there's no holes in the base, and since the globe itself is a solid piece, there's not much draw power. i think it's an interesting idea, and it has potential. the flavors need some serious tweaking, though-reminds me of the old school e cigs that tasted like "fog machine", unfortunately. needs some tweaking, like i said, but i still think the concept is interesting. tube juice...fun!

I'm a long time vaper, and long time customer of a shop here in nyc. I don't know why its so difficult to gain access to the Alpha program?

But then, being "unrequited" rather fits with your moniker.... sorry... couldn't resist.

I'm guessing that you did follow the instructions in the OP on how to apply. You're right, it isn't so hard. But I might guess that if you didn't get a positive reply it was because you're new to ECF. Post count, type of posts (positive and helpful) and several other things are considered. Hang around and get to know everyone - that always helps.

good luck!

Not difficult at all. As with any program you have some hoops to go through. However these are rater small hoops..
Get/stay active in the GV Forum, and stay on top of things in the sticky for the alpha program and you can always revisit the program later. We are looking for those that will be quite active in the forum and aid in vetting and assisting with the products. Stay on top of things in a positive manner on the sticky for the alpha program and you can always revisit the program later. Not a rejection just show us how interested you are in our family of advice givers and try again. Simple :D

Hurray! I'm brand new to the ALPHA program. I just ordered the dome dripper, some e-solid, and a bottle of the VISION Cigar juice to try out. I'm excited to test out these new items. I've read through the feedback already posted here on these items and I think they'll be interesting. I've been vaping for over 2 years and love trying new gear. Hopefully GV keeps adding new gear to the ALPHA program cause I'll try anything...

Dome Dripper

The Dome Dripper itself doesn’t present nearly as negative appearance as I originally thought it would. Coil reads at 1.8 ohm and, although I wanted to use the eVic, was limited to 5v minimum so switched to a Vision twist. Even on the Twist I found the eSolid to be harsh and dry, uncomfortable to vape. The Dome has a very tight draw and is not the loose easy draw I normally like. The only air hole is in the center pen insert on the bottom of the atty so either drilling it out or cutting an air channel, or both should remedy that. That would require disassembly, modifying, and recoiling, however, and I’m not up to investing the time at this point. I’ll admit, I am tempted to grind of her skirt and take a closer look though.

Cranked down to 3.3 volts on the Twist, I found that the Dome was still rather dry and hot so I tried adding additional eSolid to see if that helped… it kinda’ did, but also, as you might expect, melted and ran out of the cup coating the sides of the bulb. I played around with it through half the tube of eSolid and set it aside for a while. As you’ve heard before, it re-jells when it cools – I hadn’t finished my last load so as it cooled it solidified in the air tube. It was easy to clear it by using the steam on my espresso machine, but I don’ t want that to be a regular thing if I set it down to do something else and come back to it.

The Tobacco Med was really a tobacco flavor… very reminiscent of the Marlboro red as I remember. I went off tobacco flavors about a year and a half ago… and now I remember why. I don’t remember my tobacco mixes ever leaving me with the smokers mouth… you remember that taste that was always there when you smoked. Maybe this Tobacco flavor is just too realistic and just plain ol’ too tobacco for me now. I can’t help but think that maybe it would be much better rounded and smoothed out with some caramel. But, it is what it’s supposed to be – I’m just not ready to go back to it… does make me want to mix up some of my old fav based on Dessert Ship… maybe…

Strawberry High. Started with a light strawberry flavor which seemed to fade quickly. Not a bad flavor and definitely the better of the two I received. Once again, I did find the vapor to be hotter and dryer than preferred, but not as pronounced as the Tobacco flavor. There is also no unpleasant after taste.

Dome Dripper:
Hot and dry hits – recoiling to 2.5 or 3.0 ohms may be worth a try
Tight draw – not an easy fix, but may improve vapor and flavor
Vapor – light and rather dry
Flavor – varies with eSolid as would be expected
Convenience – I’d rather be dripping juice

eSolid
Flavor – varies dependent on flavor
Vapor – light compared to normal juice (60vg-40pg)
Convenience – okay, but juice is actually easier to regulate

Hey, what's up guys? I just got my first Alpha products in the mail today. :mail: Going to test them out over the weekend and post my thoughts/review next week. Very excited!! :) I got a couple of juices and the Kamry X6. I wanted to try out the Apollo as well, to compare it to the X6, but it was sold out.

alright so I got a dome dripper e-solid atomizer, and also some e-solid juice which ended up being apple at medium nicotine level.
Firstly, the atomizer tasted very burnt. We just kept trying it, but we're not going to rebuild it because of reasons you will see later on in my post. The apple tasted nice, but the burnt taste completely ruined it. I liked the medium nic and the throat hit was okay. I was gone while it arrived and my boyfriend took a few vapes off of it. When I got home I vaped it twice and handed it back to him. he tipped it upside down and to our surprise the tank cracked. no bumping involved at all. We'd had it less than an hour. The glass is too thin to be pushed on and pulled off of anything, there is some kind of design flaw with the tank. The e-solid juice disappears very, very quickly. We got about two to three vapes per dollop.
Honestly the only thing I liked about it was how cool it looked when the vapor filled the tank, and the taste of the e-solid (when ignoring the burnt taste from the atomizer). Overall I was a little disappointed, but I really appreciate the chance to try it!

I've been talking to adrena and keelalagirl55 and am really involved in the gotvapes threads and contests and have made some pretty good, long lasting relationships in them....plus i ordered the kts telescopic storm and want the x6!

I also review things for a living, literally. I work for a firm in Oklahoma city and all we do is different tech companies ship us prototypes of "gadgets" if you will (i had samsung galaxy s4 about 5 months before it came out lol) so i feel i could offer the company some of my expertise and reviews, that and my added love and always increasing knowlege of all things vaping and making vaping a better community worldwide!

Tim you are in.

For ALL: You will know when you go in to the ALPHA category if you have an Add To Cart button or if it says "product only available, blah blah". You will also be given info to apply if you didn't know about the program before. Also Adrena dnd keelalagirl55 have been working in PMs informing those who screened through their help, which is most appreciated (make sure you are kind to them! They have been a big help)

Just because a person might not be eligible at the moment doesn't mean they can't revisit this. The main thing we want to see is:

  • Somewhat experienced vapers
  • Previous customer of GotVapes so that you have an account that I can update (hopefully more than one purchase)
  • Good posting history (we would like to see 200-250 posts at minimum) especially inside of our own forum. You don't have to have constantly posted but a smattering here and there is good to see. Also post count is artificial, we can bend the rules depending on other factors.
  • Individual can abide by the guidelines: no returns, no regular ticket system for support and post constructively ONLY in this sticky about their opinions, etc. No making seperate threads here and elsewhere on ECF about the product. Keep all discussion here.

We'll have some products up very very soon...most if not all of you who responded directly to me in beginning days of this are in the ALPHA program.

I agree 100% with everything you said! now if i could just get hired somewhere in the vaping community (hint hint )....I literally review things for a living, like i had the samsung galaxy s4 in february to test it out and work out the kinks, thats my jon and thats what i do....just need someone in the vaping world to give me a chance like Samsung did....(sigh....) one could only hope...imagine a gotvapes store in norman, right next to my moms liquor store! perfect location and everything, college town, etc.

just some food for thought....now to go order this X6 tank from the Alpha section!!

I picked up a tesla at a local vape meet. The button location is definitely annoying. So, far the device has its ups and downs. Generally though I'm preferring it to the zmax v2. I'm going to do a video on it soon.

Hay fellow penguin, you’ve be absent from here [and the rest of ecigF] for a while, just doing a little hijack of the “elite” Alpha thread to ask how you are and see if anything is going on in Houston? Been home a few weeks this month and getting ready to play with my scope, maybe, and thinking about you.
