Today I received my Dome Dripper and am so excited!!!! Being an Alpha newbie and all!
Looks really cool! Esolid packaging is nice, however, I would like to be able to read the flavor easier. Took a minute to find the label. Now, I am not a tobacco vaper. AT ALL! I have a tube of RY4. Former menthol smoker. "sigh" Oh well, I can still try it out. Fits together well, vapor looks cool in the dome. Nice tight draw, if it only wasn't tobacco! Just cannot get around the aftertaste. No burnt taste, but I did put it on my old Ego. Just doesn't fit on the Provari. Reminds me of analog taste. Am looking forward to more flavors, until that happens, I will just have to look. And wish... Until then, my final impression is positive. Looks good, fits together well, Mad vapor. The drip tip isn't finished off. Looks like it was sliced off and not smoothed somehow? I do want to continue to try, so I might order a more pleasant flavor. Hopefully.

Update-
Ok, its about 5 days later and I ordered a few more domes and more Esolid (hoping for a nice fruity flavor!). Just got in the mail today. Ya'll are so fast! Ordered Fri night and got Monday afternoon. I am in Texas but, other Texas vendors would never have gotten it to me this quickly!
NOOOOOO!! RY4 AGAIN! LOL will try for another flavor later! (still love you guys!)
Oh! also the other dome I got is smoother and finished on the tip. Must have been an oversight on the first.

Name of product

Just another little reminder....because we have a lot of new Alpha members...........Please Name the product you are posting about at the beginning of your posts. This is essential as there are often several products being discussed and tracking becomes difficult without identifying what you're talking about. Doing so helps Danno and Badkolo.......who will decide whether or not to stock a product based on this feedback.......as well as those of us who are also testing and following along in the thread. ;)

Kamry X6 Review

Well, I've been using the Kamry X6 for a good week, and I am pretty impressed with the performance so far. It is a top coil tank, so it is a bit of a warmer vape, which I don't mind. The stock coil it came with metered out at 2.7 ohms. The set up is pretty basic and can easily be recoiled if someone chooses to do so. It has a silica wick and looks to be a four wrap with kanthal wire. The Kamry wicks well, as long as there is a good amount of juice in the tank. I only experienced dry hits when the juice level was extremely low. The flavor comes out very well with this tank, but the throat hit is a little light. It does have a bit of an airy draw (like the ProTank), but the vapor production makes up for it. I don't know if it is just me, but I had no idea how to fill the tank. I didn't see any fill holes, so I just used a syringe with a 18 gauge needle to fill it up through the wick holes. I suppose you can take out the coil head and refill, but then you'll have to tread the all the wicks back in. It is a pretty solid little tank, and I didn't not experience any leaking. One thing that I did notice was when taking a draw, the tank whistles. I tried to move the coils around, and even used different drip tip, but I still get the whistle. I'm not sure if this will bother most people, but it could be an issue for some. All in all, this is a nice little tank. It could be great for someone new into vaping, and also for some who would like to try their hand at an easy rebuildable.

Pros:
No leaking
Good vapor production
Nice looking tank
Can be rebuilt
Good flavor

Cons:
How do you fill it?
Mystery whistle
Light throat hit
Dry hits toward the end of tank

Well, there you have it, my first review. I think the Kamry X6 is a great entry level tank that a lot of people will like. I'm going to rebuild this in the near future and hopefully I can get rid of that whistle. I will update ASAP.
**Please let me know anything I should add to my reviews for future reference**
Thanks guys!!

Nice review. The only improvement would be to put "Kamry X6 Review" in the title of the message. When composing ...go to advanced...there is a spot there to enter the post title. It is a good habit to get into. Some folks post all sorts of comments and believe it or not, they forget to mention what they are talking about. Having the title glare out at folks while browsing makes for less confusion. I know you mentioned the product multiple times which is great but a title is even better. Gotta remember the Alpha thread covers a myriad of products. It's not like a thread for one item in particular.
Keep up the good work.

Product title

Thanks {{{{Wally}}}}....where ya been? Happy to see ya back posting

Product title in the title box is important.....would like to see everyone do it....but we still need to see them name the product at the beginning of the post as was done in that review and set in bold is even better. I was advised by members using devices other than a pc that titles don't show on their screens..........

Instead of opening a new thread I was hoping someone here could answer a question for me. I recently bought a Kanger Square 1. I was wondering if any of you that tested the little tank could tell me if you used it with a menthol? I am afraid to do so I might crack it .I do use 0 nic now so my menthol is a little less destructive than usual. I appreciate your help.

I don't recall that GotVape's ever carried a Kanger Square 1 ... I am pretty sure the other Kanger clearo's they've carried were less affected by certain e-liquids but they aren't impervious to them. Each e-liquid differs so much it's going to be hard to give a solid answer... in fact, I can't think any of the menthol ( real menthol, not the various mints I've had ) has ever affected any clearo that I've vaped them with.

I have some g4's that the menthol I used at 4 mg actually frosted the tube not badly but I don't want to mess this one up the little tanks are expensive. The liquid I use does have peppermint in it too. I believe the S1 tanks were put in the alpha program back in September. I know GV still sells them in the alpha section because I googled them and it took me to where they are $2.95 each which is very inexpensive and there are 14 in stock. I have found them one other place $19.99 each. I really love this little PV and don't want to spend anymore than I have to on my " hobby ". So really don't want to frost these. I doubt they would crack because they are thick little things.

Hay fellow penguin, you’ve be absent from here [and the rest of ecigF] for a while, just doing a little hijack of the “elite” Alpha thread to ask how you are and see if anything is going on in Houston? Been home a few weeks this month and getting ready to play with my scope, maybe, and thinking about you.

Been busy with work life and fell out of the habit of checking ECF like it's the end of an eBay auction.

I saw the dome dripper go up on alpha but decided I wouldn't have time to dedicate to a proper review. I have an iTaste SVD I'm going to do a video on though.

I've got several Kanger X6 Tanks. I really like them. I think they whistle more at first. Mine quit whistling after a while. I can't figure out why, but I Really LIKE the Flavor and Draw.
Wonder if you can fill from the bottom? Does anyone know?
I advise not taking out coil to fill it.It is too hard to get wicks in back in after refill.

Sorry I'm on an iPhone and I don't see the advanced feature.

Reminder

I guess I just have to keep on reminding everyone....Please use the advanced feature and title to tell us what product you're discussing......as well as identifying it at the beginning of your post....This is essential so that everyone...but most of all Danno and Badkolo........ can follow along more easily when there are many things being posted about in this thread. ;)

I've used menthol and root beer in mine and had absolutely no problems... I don't think menthol is a huge issue with tanks, it's the citrus ones that'll crack them. Right now I have a DIY that's about 7-8% menthol and 10% vanilla swirl in an AGR tank... no frosting or cracking in 4 days worth of refills.

(edit) I'll have to break out my S1 kit and see how it stands up... I haven't really used it since I got my MVP in March... I love that little thing, but it was just too easy to destroy the threads if you dropped it.
