I've been using my first Scorpion for a couple of days. I like the form. It's a good size and shape for my favorite batteries, easy to fill, holds a good amount of liquid and I haven't had any leaking at all. I like being able to use a standard drip tip. I don't find that it mutes the flavor (I've only used AV Hype so far), but I'm not impressed with the vapor production, and I get the "warning" hits that others have noted. To me, it performs similarly to the stardust (which I don't like). I'll say that what I'm looking for is something as easy as this that hits like a vision or a fluxo. With all the new cartos that I've tried, I find myself always going back to the vision regulars, in spite of them being a little bit of a PITA to fill and having the unpleasant whistle tip. I'm not sure of the right word to express what it is that the visions have and the Scorpions (and Stardusts) don't, but I think "body" comes closest to describing it. I find the vapor from the Scorpion unsatisfying, and find myself putting it down to grab a vision and get a real vape - in fact I'm still on my first tank after 4 days because I just don't enjoy using it.

The draw on the Scorpion seems too airy, and I notice that when I cover part of the bottom to allow less air flow, then I do see a drop-off in flavor, but an improvement in the density of the vapor.

I'm also happy to be able to join the quest for the holy grail here. Even when something doesn't work for me, like the Scorpion, I feel that we're closing in on greatness here, and when the perfect PV and carto do come along, it will come from GotVapes. I can't wait to see what we get to try next! (BTW, that's a hint, Chris and Dan)

today was my 6th day of using my 2nd Scorpion ...

It had to be cleaned (started tasting gummed up/burny) so that went ok...rinsed/*dryed/dryburned /reloaded with 50/50 to test my viscosity theory....meh it was kinda whimpy, it did wick tho not as well ...I will go back to 100%vg tomorrow ...to see if it was the juice .

I do like them. Not the tank cracking part ...but otherwise, they work for me .
Visions are still work better tho & are easier to clean.

* I removed the "queenwick" so I could dry out the others & just left it out ...
was "kinda loose'r feeling" like it was going to start gurgling any minute ...but never really did ???

I think Chris said nothing was gonna drop till after the 4th but ya never know

Alright, I must have missed it. If I saw it, I wouldn't have known if it applied to Alpha or not. I know he said something about getting a shipment on Monday, did something new come out? I've watched Alpha so closely, I've gotten kind of out of the loop with the rest!

Oh and go figure. I went to check my cart on GV and the main thing I wanted to get, an 808 to 510 adapter so I can use some of my spare batteries, is out of stock. *sigh*

Edit: I found Bad's post on the Raven thread, thank you for that! Guess I'll go ahead and bite the bullet since tomorrow is payday anyway!

No problems w the Rocket so far, but I'm only a couple days into it. Now the Scorpion however is a different story. I am having serious burning liquid issues. I cant run it above like 3.3 volts. I have tried it on a couple other devices to be sure, and it happens on them all. Its wierd, I'm almost convinced its a wicking issue, because I can set my device to 3.7 up to 4 and get 1 or 2 good pulls then it starts to burn. I have to lower way down at that point and it hits fine.

Anyone else have any probs with the rocket ? Mine is fully charged, the display comes on for a couple seconds then it just quits. I've tried wiggling the bottom cap and different intensities of tightness there. I've tried different flux's on it, I can hear a high pitched electric hum but no heat to coils. any ideas anyone?

Never seen this. However try this.

1. Remove batteries.
2. Inspect batteries as well as inside tube.
3. Remove anything threaded into the 510 connector.
4. Inspect 510 and clean as needed.
5. Leave your carto or tank off.
6. insert batteries, and check with no carto, tank etc...

Hi everyone! I joined the Alpha program yesterday & just placed an order for a vv rocket & a couple of the scorpion cartos....so excited to test/play with some new toys!! I was wondering about the size of the batteries used in the rocket but saw the answer above:D are there additional batteries available for purchase on the site or can someone suggest where to get a spare set? I'm a heavy, heavy vaper!! my 18650 vv mod lasts about 6 hrs, my 14500s only last about 4 or 5 hrs. This will be my 1st stacked battery mod....all my others are single or side-by-side dual mods. anything special I need to know other than "make sure they are facing the right way" & other standard precautions?:vapor:
