Not only are tastes subjective, but there are so many variables involved that the smallest variation of any one of them can have a great effect. I have like 6 diff devices here in front of me, and all have a diff atty, Vivi, etc. Also they are all at diff wattages. If I take the same bottle of juice and put it in each device, I have 6 diff versions of the same juice. So add taste buds on top of that and we are all very far apart, weather we are using the same Stardust or not. 2 cents.

flavors taste a tiny bit off from dripping but that is true of everything but dripping...draw is just about right
To be honest, I dont even know what those tanks are or how they work, when I saw the price I jumped all over them and figured I would figure it out when I received them. I'm quite pleased to hear your opinion of them. I look forward to getting them. I made a couple of trades in the classys the past few days as well as the 2 new Alpha purchases, so its going to be a great vaping holiday.

If you put all subjective taste issues aside, my biggest complaints with these were a. leaking from bottom edge of tube and b. waste of juice, as when it gets down low there is no amount of tilting or twirling that can entice the juice through those two little holes and up the wicks to be vaped

I agree with you on the Stardusts....I get great flavor from them, better than most other options.
But....I constantly see people trashing them because of the "muted" flavor. Some of them, I think, may be using knockoff products, but not all. It doesn't make sense. There are some "weird" things that happen tho. My current favorite juice is KBV Strawberry Pie (70/30). It tastes really good in my Vivi Nova....but tastes better in a Stardust. But...if I go to Malty Toffee.....it tastes better in the Vivi Nova than the Stardust. PG/VG ratios are probably different on those two juices....but it doesn't follow the pattern with other juices.

Yes, BWB Malty Toffee is one of my favorites, and it's 30/70 where all their other juices (except Malty and Malty Toffee) are 70/30.

Chris/Danno - question about the new "mini Pass Through 4 stage variable": How much power (current) does it require to fire?

I have destroyed a couple of USB ports trying to draw 3 times the power they were designed for with the Vornado VV. I found I had to acquire 2A power converters to power them (since the 1 Amp converters wouldn't fire the coil, I assume they take about 1500 mA). I hope these new ones will fire at the 500 mA a standard USB port can provide.

Thanks Harley, I thought my computer was playing tricks on me. I keep see the question about 'any new products' added today, etc...so now I know. Just made my 2nd order from GV, maybe in the next month or so I can reapply and try the Scorpion, lots of different opinions and I have to agree with txtumbleweed
Really the only opinion that counts is yours and what works best for you is good nomatter what others think about them.
. Thanks again:)

All USB Ports are 5V, but keep in mind that a standard downstream USB 2.0 port is only rated for a maximum of 500mA and a standard downstream USB 3.0 port (which aren't very common yet) is only rated for a maximum of 900mA. Only some computers, usually desktops, MIGHT have a special USB 2.0/3.0 Charging Port that can go to 1500mA, but they are rarely labeled differently if you have one at all. :( USB Wall Adapters (like Bad is using) typically go to around 1800mA to 2100mA which is why he has no problems.

You might have better luck with a powered USB Hub if you don't have a USB Wall Charger...

Computer usb ports are pretty much the same as far as power goes and they're not good enough. I'm sure many have used them with great success, but it's still not considered safe for the battery or the port. I've also blown a port, but I was using a computer tower that was only good for acting as a power source. I got a 2amp usb adapter for my old dongle and my new pass through. Here's the thread where I was edumacated.

Ron, I just received my rocket Friday and love it. I vaped it out of the box over a 24 hour period not constant and when it showed LO. I charged and it took about 5 hours. I have been on it pretty good for the second day and still good to go. I do have to say I don't have much in high res. stuff to vape with yet as this is my first VV PV.
Anybody now how long the batteries on the rocket take to change from red to green or if they even change upon a full charge

Ok folks I received my Rocket and Scorpions today. After a couple of hours of use I could see the Rocket bieng a hit if the final price point was in the right ballpark. In all fairness the only devices I have that I could compare it to are the new Lavatube, which I think is in a higher price bracket. Also I have a VV box mod that is no way near as convienent of a voltage adjustment as the rocket. So I have read about the bottom cap issue, but I haven't been using it long enough to come across this particular issue.
Now I will move on to the Scorpion. My first hour impression is to open the tank, break out the Dremel, and open her up to get some juice inside. This item will have to sit overnight and get a fair review tomorrow.
I would also like to add that the shipping time is ridiculous. Its as if someone was at the PO with my package and the office called and said "ok he paid, drop it in the slot". I ordered a Vivi then the next day, Sat, I ordered the Alpha items, and they both arrived today. Great Job!!

lol thanks--well its almost like that - danno

I want to echo how much better shipping is since you moved your offices! Before, once it took over a week to get an order which now takes 1-3 days.

Yes same issue here with my rocket. I am quite sure it was caused by the leaky scorpion. I love the rocket and have had to be careful screwing bottom cap back on after cleaning the batts. I do like the device especially the price but am experiencing some of the issues others have. Some dct tanks don't work but when they do it rocks. Has anyone figured out if when the LO shows up does it mean the batt. is low. I thought it did but found that it shows up when you screw in something it doesn't like, i.e. a 1.7 ressy and when I screwed in the clero that came with it, it kept vaping for hours.
Small problem with my rocket.. I had a leaky tank on it and the juice went inside the tube. Has anyone had this happen? I took the batteries out to charge them and they were sticky and smelled just like white peach. I shoved some paper towel up in the tube, I hope i got it all out of there.. but it seems to be working just fine.

I put that Scorpion away for good.. I tried to like it twice and I just get too many dry hits from it. Ordered the new Vivi and anxiously awaiting delivery of that.. I have high hopes!!
