....... but it works I use 'em to space & separate coils too ...wood doesn't cause shorts
& I think is is easier on the wicks than needles or pins.

Gonna give my impressions on my first scorpion. Kinda late but been quite busy lately so I haven't been stopping by GV forum . Anywho! Didn't do any modding so it'll be like an initial impression. It's not doing so well in my books. the wicking on this one carto is somewhat acceptable, but not enough. Have 100% pg going through it and it still isn't wick as good. i dont get a funny taste or anything, just little by little getting muted. Also, there was a small leak where the plastic meets the bottom metal part. its not that bad, but still a bit of a risk for when being held in pocket with darker juices. Still have 3 more scorpions to test out and then try to take apart after the testing is done. Will definitely report back once i've gone through them all
Note: I noticed that the same has been said but at least it adds to the statistics of each problem

Both of these things happened to me too.. I thought it was just me. It's working fine now, though.
yeah I like it !!
the tank is just a little "berry-ier" in color but not by much I only notice it in BRIGHT light ...
tank adds some weight too but not too much IMO .
took me a few minutes to figure out how to gauge how much liquid is in tank
but a dry toothpick used kinda like a "dip-stick" works pretty good
That was going to be my next question.. how do you know how much juice is left?? Excellent idea!!!
Agreed. I got a metal tank for the vivi nova and am always shining a light in there trying to guess how much liquid is left.

Holy Macaroni, I love it ! I love how it looks, how it feels, how it tastes and how it works ! I've got my gummy bears going and it's even better than I imagined it would be ! I had to file down the top edges before I could get it to fire. I've got a tank going on it, but could not get the fluxomizer to fire on it, I'll keep fiddling with it but gonna enjoy the rocket and gummies for all it's worth write now. Will post more later. Also want to say the shipping was lightening fast....2 days from Texas to Kentucky ! Thanks GV !!!!

Chris and Dan, can you add extra batteries for the Rocket to the site? I would like to have extra batteries I can charge when using the other set.

I got my Rocket today and so far I like it. I got the Red and it looks cool and very comfortable to hold. It is just a little taller than the Mini Lava and I really like the shape and button locations. I took it to the store and stuck it in my vest pocket and managed to drop it on the pavement when I was getting something out of my pocket. The good news is it didn't scratch or hurt it at all. So it is more durable than you would think. I was pleasently surprised at how good it looks and feels.
great to hear that it can withstand some abuse..I constantly drop my PV's and I work in construction and have them with me all day, they tend to get banged up here and there. I ordered a Rocket earlier today...red as well..will be waiting for this order with much anticipation

OK two things happened with my rocket today....one had been happening but I thought it was me but it isn't..... so who else is having this happen?
All of a sudden I look at my rocket after vaping it....like maybe 10 seconds later and the voltage numbers are just rolling by themselves. Its scrolling through the numbers an then all of a sudden it stops. This has probably happened to me four times now. I keep watching for a pattern but haven't come up with anything yet. It doesn't seem to actually be firing when it does this just scrolling the numbers in the window. I checked to see if the voltage adjustment buttons were stuck...but no....hmmmmmmm I am going to keep my camera nearby and see if I can get this on video cause its strange and could be an issue...I will post it when I have it.
The second thing that happened was my initial fear with this unit. The battery cover. I was having the problem of putting fresh batteries into the unit and it not responding (fixed easily but unscrewing and re-screwing the bottom cap) and I decided to try and make the spring longer thinking this might have something to do with it.....I barely touched the thing and BAMM the metal piece with the spring flew off. It looks like it is lightly glued in there. That bottom cap is really flimsy IMHO.....I was able to get the metal piece back into the cap and I am not having any problem but I would suggest to the manufacturer a redesign on the innards of the cap. Something to make it more stable. Just my humble opinion.

OK the scorpions....well I tried three of them and had basically the same experience as most of the rest of you. I had one cracked tube ( its still hanging in there but definitely cracked) The dry hits are an issue and I would not recommend these...I would wait for a new version. I liked the look and feel of them but the cracking and wicking issues make them not worth using at this point when you have other great options available. This will be my only report on the scorpions as I am done testing them and gonna put them away to compare them to the next revision if there is one. Good try let me know when revision two comes out.

I gave a good initial report for the Rocket. However today I noticed it is seeping a bit of juice around the bottom of the tube. It is not cracked, but there is juice on the outside. I would buy them again as I did not have any dry hits and I thought the flavor was good.
first impression of the scorpion. The good: I like the look and feel of them. I like the diameter. The bad: Needs a sealed top cap, or a more precise fit. Fairly dry hit. Not so sure about the design in general. Seems to be like a ce2 with an extra tube to hide wicks/wires. Dumped all juice (I left it on its side) I think from the top cap, could use a seal on the cup similar to the vivi. I think i'll try throwing a ce2 plug or something in there to see what it does..
The performance was underwhelming, mostly just dry/ muted flavor. This is a very early impression and I have others to try so when I get some more use I'll give an update.

Small problem with my rocket.. I had a leaky tank on it and the juice went inside the tube. Has anyone had this happen? I took the batteries out to charge them and they were sticky and smelled just like white peach. I shoved some paper towel up in the tube, I hope i got it all out of there.. but it seems to be working just fine.
I put that Scorpion away for good.. I tried to like it twice and I just get too many dry hits from it. Ordered the new Vivi and anxiously awaiting delivery of that.. I have high hopes!!

Mike didn't seem to have a problem disassembling his.
I must be the only person having good luck with the Scorpions.
thanks Count.. I'm not sure I'm all that comfortable taking this thing apart.. I'd never get it back together! I might have to though.. I hate the thought of juice all over in there.. maybe tomorrow I'll feel a little braver
