Received my Apollo battery yesterday in the mail. You guys ship so incredibly fast is the first thing I want to say. I ordered Friday afternoon from Pennsylvania. You managed to email me within an hour of ordering with a tracking number, and my package was delivered yesterday morning!!! If only everyone offered this kind of service! Thank you for that :toast:

The Apollo battery charged quickly, and so incredibly comfortable in the hand. It's like an Ergo Ego! The finish on it is flawless, and the lighting is pretty sweet too. This battery is going to get a lot of use. I ordered a red one, but there was some confusion with that. Apparently no red batteries were ever received, so I got a black battery. Of course, GotVapes always make it right with there customers. So I have no complaints there as it is still a very nice product. :2cool:

So with the mix up I also received an Apollo 6ml tank. I don't seem to be having the loose drip tip problem that I have read on a few other posts. Mine appears to fit nice and tight. I haven't had a chance to fill it yet, but I will. Can the center tube in the Apollo tank be rebuilt? It looks like it might be possible to me, but haven't had much of a chance to get into yet.

Thanks to the team at GotVapes for doing all you do!

Aesthetics
The Apollo (got a green one) has a lovely finish, it's very comfortable to hold, and looks amazing. 5/5 for sure, no need to change anything at all.

Performance
Generally, it performs great. There's occasional flooding/gurgling/spitting and I think it's due to a collection of juice in the base of the cap where the drip tip is inserted (I noticed that also, Deb). I haven't had a leak yet, but I've only gone through 5ml so far in it. No sudden dumping, but it's just been one day. The battery performs as well as any other 650 non VV I have, no complaints there. The vapor and flavor are good. It switches flavors well and isn't a juice hog.

In comparison to other top coil cartos/tanks I've used, it's probably a little better than average. I don't think I have to tilt and twirl it too often now that I've gotten the juice level below the window. I didn't have to do that much when it was full, but usually it's necessary once tanks get lower on juice and this one isn't giving me much trouble in that regard. I'm thinking 4/5 in performance. I have no reason to put it aside and use something else unless I need something more portable (i.e. lanyard friendly) but I'm not glued to it, either.

Overall
I really do like it. I think, if the one I received is the rule rather than the exception, it's main line worthy as is. All of this (aside from the aesthetic portion) is subject to change, but I doubt it will.

We are getting a large order as we are pretty satisfied the general GotVapes customer will have a good purchasing experience with it. Thanks to all of you for the thorough feedback.

You know we like to name products we have worked on for various reasons. We'll let you guys name this one...bring it on : )

Oh, that's funny. I just joined alpha. Held back 'cos I'm not one to fiddle with cartos or tanks, but oh the batteries - you got me there.

So, I just made my first alpha buy - a mini ego pass through. There were just 3 left. Then I come here, and look what I found......

oops, meant to quote the one about going mainstream...you know what I mean.....

Thinking about a name....

Apollo Review:

I got a Black Apollo which when I also ordered was supposed to be Red but no biggie to me. Black is pretty nice and the red/blue rings are a nice touch when using it. Construction seems pretty solid and is not as heavy as I thought it would be. Charging for me took about an hour with the 250 mah Charger. I figured it would take a little longer so wasn't an issue for me. Other then that there really isn't any more to say about the battery. It feels good, finish is great, lights are a nice touch. The ONLY thing I would have liked is to be a little heavier but I would love all my PVs to have some weight to it.

Apollo TANK Review:
So I got a Red tank on the Black base and it looks pretty good. I noticed when I removed the top the stem seemed to move to the left and does not want to move at all. This did not seem to affect performance at all. I loaded about 3/4 of the tank and let it sit for about 20 min. First few drags were light but then got progressively better. Due to the construction there seems to be no way to get this on my provari so I plan to try the USB Passthough to try some higher voltage and see how it performs. On the Apollo Battery though it is working pretty well. No dry hits, taste is pretty good and the whole overall experience is good. The finish and construction of the tank seems to be on par with the battery. Solid construction, good finish (shiny) and vapes well. Going to try some higher voltage and see how it goes but I think it will probably be even better!

Apollo E2 Tank and Battery

Just received mine, is charging as we speak. I too am a victim of the red battery-gate, so I got a black one. Wishing I would have gotten 900mah over 650 as the 650 is smaller than than I thought it would be. Size is right to be a good "on the go" device while I am out and about, and great for stealth vaping especially with a shorty carto attached.

Have not filled the tank yet, but I have read or saw a review somewhere that said you should take the tank apart and put it back together before filling to make sure all the connections are tight to ensure no leaking, may explain why a couple people have had leaking.

Mine was pretty soild so I didnt take the base apart. In fact it was so solid I couldn't get it apart by hand so I left it be.

eGo pass-through name... The Got Vapes "Firecracker", As its small and powerful.

How about sending the person who comes up with the name a prize, like one of your sample units to something that is not out yet, or something that wont be coming out that you have laying around collecting dust, or a small gift cert?

Well, great - ppl will love it! :)

I got one: how about "Acorn"? It's cute, and small, and rounded - and, besides, being of Druid-ish persuasion, acorns are always on my mind anyways. :D

   A sci- fi russian druidess  Love ya Briar  Only thing is there's some other place selling an Acorn tank and we know how easily people are confused ;) :D

To go for a complete disclosure: a sci-fi russian jewish druidess. (Mom is jewish). Remember Spaceballs? I'm druish.

Hmmm... You are right - there is an acorn tank... Not sure if that's confusing, I mean tank and VV PT are not really close, but still, don't know if it would be problematic...

Well, if folks think it's problematic, we can call it a Nut - to reflect the self-admitted psychological make-up of this community... A GV Nut - goodness, the double-meaning joke possibilities are endless. That's the vaping world for you: condoms, nipples, heads, nuts...
