To go for a complete disclosure: a sci-fi russian jewish druidess. (Mom is jewish). Remember Spaceballs? I'm druish.

Hmmm... You are right - there is an acorn tank... Not sure if that's confusing, I mean tank and VV PT are not really close, but still, don't know if it would be problematic...

Well, if folks think it's problematic, we can call it a Nut - to reflect the self-admitted psychological make-up of this community... A GV Nut - goodness, the double-meaning joke possibilities are endless. That's the vaping world for you: condoms, nipples, heads, nuts...

Good names put forwrd...I will tell you we usually like to go for a really pro-active style in names, action or sensationalistic names, which is why I am probably leaning towards something like FireCracker in what I, myself, like. But this isn't up to me or Chris. We'll name it what you guys want to name it, just get a consensus eventually (you have plenty of time, they cwon't be here until next week for general sale)...

I'm having trouble coming up with any manly sorts of names. I haven't held one in my hand yet, but they kinda look like a lipstick or perfume spray or something. :)

Sorry, not the kind of image you were looking for at all.

Just ordered a SOLE and can't wait to test it. I believe the charming jack is a Nokia jack like the Itaste. I'm interested in seeing if the SOLE can function as a passthrough. My plan is to nearly discharge the battery and use the Itaste charger to see how it does.

I have actually been using the Sole with the iTaste charger and it does indeed work well as a passthrough as well as charging too.

Ok Been using the Sole daily since I first received it. This thing works great, have vaped about a dozen or so tanks thru it and it still is performing as well as the day I got it. Flavor and vapor are still as consistent as day one. So far still no issues with the battery connection to tank loosening up from use, still nice tight connection. Been waiting to see how the cleaning goes with some of the rest of you before I clean it, but as I said with over a dozen tanks of 80/20 PG/VG mix still doing very well.

Also received my Apollo yesterday along with extras, haven't tried the tank yet but the battery is great for a 650mah, got the purple batt/tank combo looks very nice and feels very solid, must agree would have preferred the 900mah batt but they were already gone by the time I got home from work. Will report back when I have a chance to play with the tank

A consensus on a message board will never happen.

Maybe it's just me, but after the whole exploding battery issue, I would suggest leaving out any similarities to explosions. Just a suggestion.

Maybe create an ABU (Approved By Users) area on your site, and place it in there. :)

bassmonster, How did the Sole cleaning go? I have one soaking in pga now.
Hi tlynn,

After 48 hours to dry after cleaning in pga, i filled it up and it is vaping like a champ. I think one day of drying would have been sufficient, but I gave it an extra day, just to be sure. I'm a half tank in after cleaning, and it is working well.

I'm almost to the end of my 3rd tankful and loving this little bugger. I guess because of the size I didn't expect much, but I'm getting surprisingly good vapor production and flavor, with no dry hits or gurgling or leaking.

At first I thought the proprietary non-510 connection would be a show-stopper. But the tank is such a perfect fit, form factor wise, that I can't imagine wanting to use anything else with it. So I guess the fact it's proprietary is a non-issue for me.

Downsides? Well there's that single-prong charger thingie that as I recall a few people here have already called attention to. Since I've got a USB hub with ports on the top, I'm able to charge it in a vertical orientation, so even that's been a non-issue for me so far, but would like to see a snugger, more secure connection just the same.

More downsides? Maybe the build quality. I can't imagine one these lasting very long, but I hope to be surprised.

Bottom line, this could easily become my go-to device for carrying with my when I'm out and about. Sooo easy to pocket a couple or three of them!
