I don't think we decided yet - have we?.. Me, I still like the GV Meerkat. C'mon, guys, it's perfect! :D I mean, I can see how an acorn is too tame and pastoral - but Meerkats are totally cool, and have an attitude 10 times their size. And the tail, you can't forget the tail!

But I like MiGO too - if I could only remember what the M stands for...

Mini..........

I still like puffball :)

Apollo E2 tank

Fit and Finish
Feels solid and well made. I like the threaded connections on the top and bottom of the tank, seems like they will hold up well, no leaking so far and I don't foresee any leaking. Red color on the tank looks nice, not sure how the color will hold up over time and abuse but we will see. I do not have issues with loose drip tips as other posters have had, my tips fit as they should. Replaceable heads is a huge plus for me, I will no longer buy a juice delivery product that does not have replaceable heads.

Performance
Meh.... Had dry hits for the first 20-40 puffs or so, par for the coarse I guess. Flavor, throat hit and vapor seem average to me, not as good as the vivi nova IMO. I get an occasional light dry hit, not bad but enough to taste that its a dry hit. I get gurgling maybe 1 in 4 hits accompanied by juice spiting into my mouth, not a ton just enough to make me reach for a drink to rinse it out.

I think this tank will have its niche, but that niche is not in my regular rotation of devices.

Apollo E2 650mah battery - Black

I like it, its a battery, it holds a charge, the device attached to it fires when I press the button... so it works. I like the form factor of this battery it fits in the hand very nicely and is much better for stealth vaping than a 650mah ego battery IMO. I used it exclusively from 6pm-12am last night while at a minor league baseball game, am still vaping on it now. Total vape time and time to recharge it I will report back on later. The lights on it around the middle I dont mind, if they were not covered by my hand I would not like them as I try to not be noticeable while vaping in public especially in places where there is no smoking... like a minor league baseball game. Fits nicley into my on the go kit with two 350mah ego mini's. (which I love BTW)

Everybody needs a healthy dose of patience to go along with their screwdrivers. Rebuildables Attys (RBAs) are a whole diff animal that have a learning curve. The first coil and wick may work nicely then comes the fun. It is a "light shines on marblehead" type of thing when one does "get it". It is not that bad, just want all to know who are used to throwing a cart or atty on, that this takes a little practice.

Well, we might as well name it the Bonny

Amigo is awesome.

As for the sole... I guess I got the rotten apple. At first it was just fine and looked like it would get better, but it never did. And I've tried a variety of juice. Pushed myself through several tanks. I'll try to clean it again, I guess. The flavor is quite muted and the amount of vapor I get is totally sporadic. I also get random dry hits. This time around, I'll let it soak in peroxide and I'll try again to straighten the post, gently.

I'm open to any suggestions.

As for the Apollo, I finally got to fill it for a second time. This thing holds a ton of juice and I just don't vape that heavily. I'm loving it. It's like the stone, though. If you fill it much more than halfway, you're in gurgle / flood city.

Norman, Ok
I'll throw in my vote for the name AMiGo on the VV pass thru also... sounds good to me

On the Sole... everything I posted before still stands. It is a nice little PV that is easy to carry and has decent flavor considering what it is. The main negative is the USB power adapter as has been stated by myself and everyone else.

My attempt at trying to clean... didn't go well. I soaked the clearo in PGA after I started to get a plastic like flavor during the second filling... I suspect that taste may be related to having left it in my car during a 108-110 degree day... but that is just a guess. Anyway... after soaking in PGA overnite, I left it out to dry for a couple of days and then attempted a dry burn... it hadn't completely dried and I suspect there was still some juice left over from the previous filling. I'm guessing that these need power flushed to really get them cleaned up. The dry burn, in this instance ended up ruining the flavor of the tank so I've now tossed the first tank and filled the second one that I had got... The second tank is working as good as the first, so a plus on consistancy ( if you can call only testing 2 tanks being consistent )

I think the idea of giving these away as a first PV to a newbie is a good idea also... The only thing is that I believe you may do better by getting the 350mah mini eGo that GV is about to get, toss in a couple of Stardusts and a charger and the person would be a little better off with about the same money invested.
