I didn't get a ce5 either, but one reason is that I pretty much agree with Jerry. I have little interest in anything that doesn't have replaceable innards, and a good plastic so that I don't have to worry which juice is going in it. That doesn't mean that I won't alpha test other things when I can, but although some may like them, as a buyer I have no interest if it's not good plastic and replaceable innards at this point.

I'm pretty much in line with what Deb and Jerry said.....I'm pretty much interested in stuff that is replaceable/rebuildable at this point....needs to come apart to be easy to clean.

EEEEEEEEYO alphas, I am here 2day to post about my 1st alpha products:vapor:,,,so the scorpion carto im really not impressed with, the draw is a little to airy(not really a word but works:) ) 4 my liking. its not really giving me great flavor but due to the fact of i havent fully broke it in yet, just having a hard time doin so since im not really ejoying it,but ill keep workin with it and keep yall up 2 date on its progress, now the
applo: 1 of the reasons i havent fully broken in the scorpion, im 2 busy diggin this product.seems pretty well built, its soilid fits nice in hand its smaller then what im used 2 (650mah)been rockin ego-t mod. but im really diggin it thus far. the batt is consitantly putting out 3.7 so far, if i change the carto it could b a perfect little sneak-a-vape. as for the tank its been great so far no issues as of yet.down side is the drip tip doesnt seem to have a real snug fit.
so far applo
scorpion - gonna have 2 wait and see
EEEEEEyo alphas!
OK so finally got the scorpion broken in and it seems to work pretty well, I picked up 2 of these the 1st one I gave up on didn't seem to wick at all. 2nd 1 is working pretty well. Its ohm out @3.6 Juice I'm using is a 60/40 mix I don't change flavors I'm a 1 juice kinda guy I know what I like. I know I'm missing out on all the options of juice. Needless to say I'm happy with the 2nd scorpion 1st ones gonna be a tinker if I don't toss it. My suggestions 4 this product make wick & coil ez 2 access ether 4 replaceable parts or just cleaning. Get rid of drip tip have a tip like a star dust or top piece a solid unit the tip serves no purpose 2 me, I'm sure others like it so you can change the looks a bit.

As for Apollo same goes for the tip, its pretty a cheesy tip. Make it a 1 piece unit. The tip serves no purpose you cant fill it just by taking off the tip. It already has all the character it needs and then some. I did take it with me 2 work it gota lota comments.(hope that dont take me outa the program I dident say nutin bout it other then gotvapes alpha:unsure:) It held up in my pocket no breakage, but tip kept falling off. lota things tend to break in my pocket even if I'm being lazy. So tank and batt seem pretty durable again:thumbs: 4 Apollo, but the tip has got 2 go!
Thanks again 4 giving me the privilege to take part in this awesome program!

CE5...

I passed on getting one for the same reasons the others that passed them for... if it isn't modular or easy to clean I have little interest. In fact, I'm also passing on the earlier versions of the Stardust for the same reason, not because I didn't like them, but there are better options available now.

Ok...we are lookign at making the CE5 our second main line product--can I get a rehash from everyone on this one?

I like the CE5 and use it daily on my Alpha SS Mini Passthru, which it just seems to work best with (set at 4.8 volt).

Vap & taste are good, better than expected for this system type (Stardust class).

The drip tip is extremely comfortable; it is one of the main reasons that I find myself going back to it. Too bad that someone hasn't picked up on this style for regular drip tips... I may even start making a few in the shop for my other gadgets.

Month of medium use and still going strong. Although I fully strip it down once a week to clean, which is not such a big issue since I do so with all my gear anyway.

Taking a few extra minutes to pull apart these supposedly non-'rebuildables' isn't for everyone and not as convenient as the new 'rebuildables' but for those who enjoy tinkering/break-downs, the CE5 is simple.

Only had one, very minor leak problem but a small modification fixed it (below; image 4 shows inside cone-tip marked with yellow 'X' is swapped for concave dish. original rubber/condom used again).

CE5: For the most part I like it. I use it often because I like the flavor. Seems pretty well made. I haven't been using an acidic juice though. I have been using a 50/50 Berry Delight (Mixed berry).

Will I buy it again? Probably not. The hit is way too airy for me and there are better options out there at this point. I also like the ease of cleaning with most of the other options out there (Replaceable head SD, vivi-nova, etc)

Do i think it should be mainlined? SURE! It is a good product...could be better, but it is a good solid addition to your line-up.

Did you convert it into a rebuildable? Seeing the Nova and Stardust heads in the pictures had me wondering or are they there only for refrence?

Just looking around the Alpha section of the shop excites me, so many interesting new things to check out. Hoping to join the ranks soon, and then join the conversation/reviewing in a hopefully informed manner lol.

You can join the conversation now, and that helps folks get to know ya!

Only for reference where to get the concave dish (Nova head) that I used instead of the original cone-tip (Stardust).

Sorry about that friend, after re-reading my post I should have been little more clear.

Thanks again for a great program; really enjoy tearing these products down and testing them!

I'm still alive! I know I haven't been around as much as usual. Got sucked in by a video game. Any time anyone in the house starts playing a Harvest Moon, Rune Factory or Monster Rancher game, I can't help myself. This time it was Monster Rancher 3 and I beat it yesterday so I should be free from it's irresistible pull.

I have a lot of writing to do today plus I have to take both kids to the doctor later, but I'll do what I can to put these newer things through the paces. Just wanted to make two little comments:

The queen wick on the Apollo E2 tank looks like it would be a *perfect* fit for the C9 spike. I was cleaning some chocolate juice out of the tank yesterday and noticed how thin it was and had this epiphany. I absolutely want to try it, but I don't have any extra wicks to spare. I'm guessing that I can use some strands from another wick to replace the queen wick if I decide to try it out since I'd have to cut the wick down to size. It just looks like it's the perfect width and the ends wouldn't fray while trying to push it through.

Okay, the other thing was about the Apollo. I just wanted to let you all know that I have a Phoenix on my battery right now and the Apollo tank is being used as a sleeve to keep my lanyard ring in place. The window is the right height for me to see the Phoenix's juice level once it's low. It's freaking awesome, I love that the threading matches the eGo threads. If that's all I ever get out of this thing ever again, I'm still happy. Best sleeve ever. I need one of each color now

Why oh why can't clearomizors be made consistent?! I have 4 Sole clearos:

1. using Hype worked really well until the 3rd fill when vapor and flavor diminished but no dry hits or burnt taste.

2. using Bobas taste really good too but every 3rd drag was a dry hit. I guess I have to write that one off due color and viscosity. It is drying right now after pga soak and I will try another juice.

3. In this one I have 100% vg that is very thin and clear. It has a really bad taste, like burnt rubber. I inspected it before I filled it and there was glue at the base of the tube that I was able to remove but everything else seemed good. I cannot even get to half a tank it tastes so bad. The wick is wet and the surrounding material is wet. I looked at the coil with magnifier and I see nothing touching it that should not. There is no way the rubber on the cap/tip is touching the coil.

4. same juice as #3 and it has no flavor and every 3 hit is a dry burn.

One other thing I noticed was when I filled with Hype about 1/2 the juice was sucked up immediately into the tube but did not happen with the other 3. I am seriously bummed, I really like everything else about these but the heart of the unit just does not work.

:(

Ok on the CE5 - I had such a great out of the box experience with them but my only concern was maintainability. It appears there are those here in ALPHA that have been somewhat successful in this regard and some that have been able to use them for several days in a row that even without a cleaning, if used for up to a week will still be a good value. I was having a tendency to agree with others about how things were moving almosy completely to replaceable coils (Nova, Mini Nova, replaceable Stardusts, E1 and one other HUGE release going in main possibly as early as later today or tonight that we haven't told you about _ may be doign a vid for it) but I think this has promise if priced right...I think we are gogin to give it a go in main...I'd appreciate it if anyone had any suggestions for naming it...AlphaStar?
