A little late (particularly as they're going main in just a couple of days), but I wanted to give an update on my experience with the VV dongle.

My first dongle kept sputtering with it's power and turning off. Even a higher power USB wall wort didn't help with that problem. I went ahead and ordered a second one, because if I could get one that worked then it would be an awesome little doo-dad.

My second dongle got here super-fast (as usual!)

The second one worked GREAT right out of the box.
Small, sexy. Both my Phoenix BC and Stardusts work great on it. I generally use it on the 'red' setting. I believe that is 4.2V. Works great!

It's turning into one of my favored vaping power sources.
Saves my batteries for when I'm out and about.

Thumbs up!!

on the c9 i think its made pretty well looks just like a bulli just smaller...i tried to hook it up like the bulli easiest way(forget about trying to fish it thru the hole)get some mesh and roll ur silica in it till it fits in the hole then u can cut it to were it needs to be thats how you do it with the bulli..i cant get it to wick well at all after 10 or so hits it needs primed this one is a fair in my book..the posts are way to close to each other if one mabey was higher then the other and spread out then it wuld be possible to use mesh like the cyclone instead of silica..ill tinker some more but no go on this one..

Thanks for the info. This looks more like a drip atomizer not a true tank.

Do we know if the Twist version of the Apollo E2 batteries are any good? I saw them earlier...

Also, did Anyone have problems with the Apollo battery or was it just the tank that was no fun?

No issues with mine, Currently it is what I use for my portable. A twist would be AWESOME to test though!

Just ordered a Hyper SRT. Cannot wait to get my hands on that thing! I looked through the threads for a bit for reviews but cannot find any. Anyone have any glaring issues or anything? Advice?
Since it is a rebuildable tank there are no issues except user error. there are a few video reviews here I believe they are under the srt thread. Best advise it prime it well before hitting.. which seems to be the general thing everyone is saying

I'm just finishing my 1st tank and i would suggest dry burning b4 you juicde it up. It had a nasty metal taste until I burned the *(&^ out of it. I had already filled it up so it took a while. However once I got it good and oxidized it rocks.

our first alpha product to go into main will be

THE SOLE KIT. It goes into main section this week, we would like to thank you all you gave us feedback, form all the reviews here and the ones sent to us we feel confident in bringing this product up to the big league.

The ce5 will be another alpha to go to main, just waiting on the new tubed version

It also looks like the Passthrough will as well, so the purpose of alpha is working perfectly and everyone wins in the long run.

Thanks to all alpha memebers. its much appreciated

yes i want some

An Apollo E2 shaped battery with VV twist.... these would sell like crazy. I have been waiting for someone to copy the twist. Its about time. I dont like the length of the ego twists, they are too long IMO, and too thin to fit comfy in my hand, the E2 batteries are perfect sized.

Also wonder if any alpha goodies came in today's orders.

Received the Mini little less than a month ago, it is used daily for hours at a time (while on computer/web) and it is still going strong.

This micro field trooper has very little draw backs, feels silky smooth plus it is real easy on the eyes.

Works extremely well with the Alpha CE5 and Stardust systems, especially so at the highest setting (green 4.8)

It does not like dual carts, as it will re-set back to blue (3.0) if you attempt any higher setting.

Voltage is a bit off but not a real issue:

-Listed at: 3.0 (blue) 3.6 (purple) 4.2 (red) 4.8 (green)-

-Tested at: 2.8 (blue) 3.5 (purple) 4.1 (red) 4.8 (green)-

Other thoughts: Happy to see the Stainless Steel Mini PassThru go main line, this will be a huge hit and sell-out very quickly, IMO.

Here is a few images of the Mini PassThru with some customized parts (explained below):

Pics 1-4:

I reworked a Stainless Steel super short carto & SS drip tip by fully disassembling the carty, shortened the internals, shortened the SS external tube a bit more (it was already pretty small but was able to take it down a little more with some painstaking work), lightly sand & polish the SS tube and re-assembled.

Then took a regular size SS drip tip which I had lying around and cut it almost in half & reworked/rounded the very tip edge.... finished with a file sand & heavy polish.

It works ok (doesn't hold much juice as one can imagine) but I wanted to do something little different & as compact as possible.

Pic 5: with Mini Nova

Pic 6: with Alpha CE5, 'Rebuildable' Stardust internal wth SS wick, sheet of 400 SS mesh, DKW SandShark OTF Knife.

Pic 7: with Phoenix Bully 'Rebuildable' Atomizer (Bully is a solid vap! Really enjoy it)

Pic 8:
with Hyper SRT (not a fan at all; always a terrible burnt/metal taste no matter what I've tried so far. Will give it a SS wick & start again...)
