edit** forgot to hit reply
**in response to penguins last post**

If you end up finding the screw and give my way a try..the hardest part was keeping the added wicking taught while wrapping the coil..might want to do something like put a heavy little object on the added wick ends to keep pressure on it while wrapping but I was able to hold mine by slipping it between two fingers and kept it taught enough. If you envisioned an upside down T of wicking with the straight up and down part coming out of the center of the coil then you got it. It does work really well..just kind of tricky to hold it all ..but doable.

Man finally got my new avatar sized right..lol..scanned a picture of my Daisydog that was taken by a photographer at petco last year. I stood back and whispered..want a treat!!..and she did the head tilt with a snarl lip lol

I just found that wee little screw! I had to get under the desk with a little LED keychain light and search section by section. Then I had trouble trying to get it back in the post and it fell under the desk again.... It didn't have the decency to fall in the same spot as the last time but I did manage to find it again.

So, I may try your inverted-T method a bit later.

My girls love to work with beads. I got tired of finding beads all over the floor under the bar (where they like to sit and work), so now I make them work over a cookie sheet. If beads drop they don't roll onto the floor. It's a thought ;)

It's mostly about the candy we get with our orders... don't be fooled.

He is right, it's all about the candy!! ;) Welcome to the thread Paulette, don't worry, you'll be in the ALPHA club in no time. I was able to join ALPHA with a lower thread count, but I did have orders previous with GV and I'm active on their forum. Just keep chattin' and vapin' and the door will open

BTW

Dannoman and Badkola,
I personally am having a hard time remembering what started Alpha and what didn't. And from the looks of some of the other posts in here, I am not alone.
Just a suggestion but I believe another Alpha read only sticky would be very beneficial. It would have to be done by Danno or Chris. (Like they don't have enough to do.) In the new thread all that would go in there would be the original product pictures and description. Each post would be only a new Alpha product. No responses would be allowed. That's what this thread is for. It would strictly be a reference and only added to by Dan or Bad. They could go back later and add a Yay or Nay after some testing.

That's a really good idea.

I think your getting into a grey area here. Yep we definetly get way off topic sometimes, but at the same time if we were to go thru all the posts, a lot of the time we are getting into helping others and modding existing Alpha products. We have developed our own community here, and I feel as if we have solved the senseless banter posting by adding titles to our official reporting posts. This way Baddo (Bad and Danno for short from now on) can distinguish whats pertinent to them and whats not.
Now a data collection chart may not be a bad idea. However that may be better suited for Baddo to make their decisions and not pertinent to us as a focus group (who has trouble focusing)

EDIT : Also when we go weeks without anything new to play with we must keep it interesting. You know like having a monkey with a pink brassierre on who dances and sings...

No no no. We love your posts!

I think Wally is referring to a couple of posts on the GotVapes for dummies thread where we were talking about a couple of products, and forgot that one was an alpha. Briar kindly stepped in to remind us, but it was an honest mistake. We all felt bad, and don't want to repeat it. Thus the request for a alpha cheat sheet (or thread.)

I prefer Dankolo....just sayin'

Anyhoo....Have we heard any word on the impending Zmax? I, for one, would like to get in on the testing procedures....

Thats works too. However (judging by your avi) we are from the generation that sees the first 4 letters and automatically thinks of other things. I do anyway..Go ahead and draw your own conclusions;)

I dunno, seems that it's easy to use GV site to check for what's alpha. I was one of those who posted in that thread. Didn't forget it was alpha, but forgot I shouldn't have commented outside of the alpha thread about an alpha product.

It's easy that way to see what's currently Alpha. A separate Pictures only thread could be like our scrap book of Alphas past.

Nothing grey about it. It has nothing to do with this thread and nothing would change here. It's just an alpha product reference listing and nothing more.
It has nothing to do with off topic postings. You are the warden on that one. I love monkey mama's posts. I really need a laugh sometimes and she always delivers.
All this E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, E6, E9, dripper, tanker, submarine, dongle, dingle, clearomizer, darkomizer. melting tip, cotton, silica, kanthal, stardust, moondust, Raven, Scorpion, etc. get's confusing. I have so much stuff I just call it this and that. Every book and catalog has an index. Why can't this stuff. Particularly when it disappears off the GV site when it's gone. All I want to see is one thread with only Alpha product pics and names. It's really not any extra work. They post them anyway but they are all scattered about. Why not put them in one thread for reference in the chronological order they appeared?
Anyway the call is Dan's and Chris's. I personally would love to see it.
