nath, they should be dry, but a easy wash will do the trick, if you cant taste a little from your finger to tell me the tast becuase the ones here were dry, i would like to know what your tasting form the wet part as it might simply be pg or vg
I started with what I guess is a "normal" but long drag. Slow. When I started getting the dryness, I did short, hard pulls. But badkolo's "reset" (blowing out through the battery post end) seems to have fixed it. Reading his followup post, I think I filled the tank too fast. I was just filling from a drip bottle, but this one happens to flow very freely. We'll see what happens on my next fill. I'll be more cognizant of how *exactly* I'm filling the tank.
btw, just to be sure....the "primer drips" directly down onto the coil in the phoenix carto: do they go before or after filling the tank? I think I did mine after I filled the tank and pushed the carto back up into position.

didn't have any real taste from finger.. its a slightly brown mostly transparent liquid .. and its just on one of the carto's in the little plastic baggies..
it was inside the baggie and only the outside of the carto .. i'm thinking its just machine oil =P
should add its only 1 out of 7 =P (yes i snuck in a 2nd order of replacement cartos)

got my first tank filled ..easier than any other carto tank i've got .. two drops down center (also much easier than any other carto tank i have) .. first vape .. awesome
its great to have a tank and none of that filler taste .. i think i've found my perfect delivery system....

2nd tank, and this time it's Boba's Bounty. HOLY MOLEY. I've love this stuff and it's NEVER tasted better!!
im glad you got it working zipflint, now that your rocking you will see why we kept on and on until they were ready, because the others who doubt this can doubt it but ive been vaping for over 3 years and right now i think the ravens produce the cleanest flavor and huge vapor for a single coil that no filler can keep up with, my opinion of coarse. side by side with so many others and each time the raven comes out on top performace and taste wise
I am Vaping the same juice in my ZAP, an eVod and the Raven and flavor is not remarkably different between the eVod and the Raven. There is some against the ZAP but not as big a difference as one would think. The flavor is not as full and lasting as a genesis but damn close to the eVod. It's not as warm a vape as the eVod.
Ease of use, ability to work on any current mod, use a tip of your choice, work on any battery with 510 connection and excellent flavor/vapor production will make these very popular units.

I can indirectly answer this one for what I saw even though my Phoenix isn't here yet based on what krash already said...
I've used boge, smoktech standard ( not the rejuvenator ) as well as Puresmoker's cartos in tanks... The Vision Vivi Novas have much better flavor ... and for me the Evod's have even more than the Vivi's
For me, all standard filler type carto's I've tried carry the cottony taste with them. The Smoktech shorty carto's are the cleanest I've tasted but are still a bit muted compared to the clearo's I've used. I still use the shorties for taste testing and to give out samples due to their lower cost.
imo anything with a wicking material is going to mutate the flavor .. just from the fact smaller particles get to the coil easier ..but a super short wick like the raven helps with this
Hah that's what I've been debating all night. I'm on my third tank of my all day vape and it just gets better flavor is really clean and nice. So my second raven what to fill with and bobas comes to mind but I worried about wicking. just put a raven in my pyrex tank .. through no fault of the raven .. when pulling it out enough to fill it was right between the oring on the tank ..which allowed the juice to just flow right out the bottom =P
anyone putting these in another tank i suggest not getting the slits below the oring and using a syringe =)

once i got it filled and sorted the intial filling problem (again not the ravens fault) .. its vaping great =)
no leaks and lots of vapor
