So, now we cloud chase in the faces of babies? Thats the same thing as vaping around kids? Ooooo Kay.
Apparently. It amazes me how much of this BS is believe by people who vape on a regular basis. If you really believe it's that bad for you, go back to cigarettes. Me, I'll keep vaping like it's natural, and advocating it as much as I can.

Nah, I'm pretty sure they dont really believe it. I'm waiting for an official government funded study that will prove that playing devils advocate is a stronger addiction than cigarette smoking.

OP

I am an "only vape where I could smoke" person.

In the scenarios you describe, what would I do if I had never discovered vaping and was still on the analogs? Of course I would use the nasty smokers room for a couple of quick puffs....or just not vape at all until I reach a place where I can.

The bottom line is, I feel if we don't want to piss people off and see this industry get regulated into a place where the only thing available to us are pre-filled big tobacco owned cartridges, we have to respect others right NOT to breathe in our vapor. Regardless of whether or not second hand vape is "hurting" anyone.

Just my thoughts on the topic. ;)

We talk so much about "respect" that we sometimes forget that WE also have the right to be respected. That meny times, others are the ones disrespecting us.

"I am an "only vape where I could smoke" person"
"We have to respect others right NOT to breathe in our vapor. Regardless of whether or not second hand vape is "hurting" anyone".

OK. So, do I have the right to demand that someone who is using a strong scented parfum in a crowded bus, to leave?
It's not "hurting" me (well, It could. "We do not know, so it should be banned until proven otherwise"), but it surelly is "disturbing me".
I "have the right" to NOT breath his/her scent of choice.

In many outdoor places, smoking (and now vaping) has been banned. Because other people believe they "have the right" NOT to see disgusting people smoking. I mean, the trouble must be the LOOKS of it, since in an outdoor area, "breathing in smoke" (or vapour) is NOT an issue.
What about your landlond? Many of them are already banning vaping in their property. Putting aside the question of HOW such a thing can be enforced, let me ask: is the landlord living with you? Is he going to "breathe in your vapor"?
If not, then what "right" has the landlord to dictate how you live your life, when what you're doing is legal, and is NOT going to ruin his property? Sure, it is "his property", but, as long as you pay you rent, it is YOUR "home, sweet home" to live in. YOU are the one who has the right to make yourself at home. YOU are the one paying the rent.
See how dangerous this "only vape where smoking is allowed" mentality can become?

"Respect the others" should not mean rolling over to every random whim of people with a sick need to control other people's lives.
"Respect the others" should not mean bowing to the demands of people who are being disrespectful themselves.

First off, don't expect others to respect you ... it's your responsibility to respect them. You're the one vaping, not them.
So? Because we're doing something completely harmless that they don't understand, they don't have to respect us but we have to respect them? Ok. Lol.

So you think they have some sort of responsibility go to the trouble of learning about vaping, even tho' they have no interest in dong so.

We do NOT have a RIGHT to be respected. Respect is something you EARN for yourself, or GIVE to OTHERS. Respect that is DEMANDED is called ARROGANCE.

Yes, your are 100% correct. That is how respect works.

It has remained a mystery how many feel that the non vaping general public need to take time out of their day to educate themselves about vaping.
I hate rap music. At the volume I usually hear it, its got to be as annoying as vapor. So far, I've not been compelled to research tupac and snoop dog so I can have a better understanding of where these sub woofer offenders are coming from. I just wish they would turn it down as I make my way to a quieter place. What a concept.....relocating myself without causing a scene.
