May other substances follow soon!

Um nope I am fine there. I would say less bloated but like, I also feel like hamsters chewed on my stomach. I cannot figure out how I used to live this way on a daily basis (opiate addiction now gone OMG opiates are AWFUL) plus now I just use um, probiotics which I ALSO wish I had not (well not discovered, but I wish I had believed in them more.)

I'm going to try and do without the clonidine today. Here's hoping!

I do mix my nic base ahead, slightly higher on the nic and lower on the PG than my target. The flavors will slightly drop the nic and raise the PG. Makes it easy to mix flavors - measure them out, top with the base, and wait :)
That's pretty much what I do to.

Most flavors are in PG (although not all), so that will bring the PG up a little in the final. So that might come closer to 20% PG. If that's still too low for you, mix your nic base with more PG to start with. Maybe try 25% PG for the base, since your nic is in VG. That should get you close to your specified 30/70 after adding the flavors.

Likewise, Fran. VG over 50% tends to cause my body to develop a lot of phlegm. So I get / got all my nic in PG :)
I also do mine in as close to a 50/50 mix as too much vg makes my chest feel like someone is sitting on it, plus the phlegm. So my base usually has a bit of higher vg than 50% to have room for the flavorings. I usually mix low enough flavorings to account for this. Close enough for me is all I need.

    :)

So if wanted 30/70 PG/VG and 10mg Nic, and most of my mixtures come in around 15% flavoring...
PG 15% (easy enough), VG based nicotine 12%, that leaves 73% VG in a base ? That sounds a little high ...
Wouldn't a base composed of 15% PG, 12% VG nic, and 58% VG combined with 15% PG flavors yield a more or less 30/70 PG/VG end product? (I say "more or less" because the nicotine itself takes the place of some of the VG in the nic base.)

Mine is too. I end up with somewhere around 20% VG.

Anything higher than 30% PG sends my sinus allergies into overdrive. Have to stay below the mark or I will suffer badly. Maybe I will just stay with "from scratch" as I know where I mixing that way.

hm I may have to try this.... but then again typically when I go lower than 75% vg I start coughing, not sure if i have a slight reaction to the pg, but I also don't like throat hit anymore....funnier because I started at 50/50 and higher pg but onces I really got into vaping started bumping my vg up more and more but yeah I do feel a gommy feeling in my throat when vaping sometimes but then I have sinus/allergy problems already lol so hard telling if it's really vaping related

Yup. Doing it this way, it's always "more or less", varying with whatever % flavorings the mix winds up at. I vape at 18 mg/ml, so if I wind up at 17 or 19, not a concern for me. (Those who vape really low levels of nic may not be happy doing it this way, as it may not wind up near the desired nic level.)

I was looking for something nutty and creamy... so I mixed up the following about two weeks ago:

    Bavarian Creme TPA 2%
    Caramel Butter WF 1%
    Caramel Candy FW 1%
    Caramel v2 CAP 1%
    Hazelnut FW 1%
    Hazelnut (Hazel Grove) FA .5%
    Sweet Cream TPA 1%
    Sweetener TPA .25%

I guess I made a good butterscotch, because that's what it tastes like. Too bad that wasn't what I was looking for... it is pretty creamy though.

    Back to the drawing board.
