If they’re in a dedicated room, could you put an electric heater with thermostat setting in there? I’ve used one in the front room for both guests and pets at various times (on a table, and they do shut off if knocked over or bumped). And I do understand... we’ve had our grumpy old man gulf coast box since 1995 ( I inherited him).

I will probably have to do something like that and probably a small water heater too. I just need to keep the temps 72 degrees or higher. I remember your little gulf boxie.... I always get a kick out of seeing their eyes when they see a plate of fruits and vegetables.

Good morning mixologists. Oy. I did get up at 6 and I actually didn't feel that bad. I dropped my coffee on the way to the couch (lids don't really help you when you are like r4 feet up. So I was mopping it up with a towel and eager to get more coffee but I slipped in some and fell down. It wasn't a graceful fall at all, I landed exactly on my elbow and head. My head is fine but that elbow thing? Argh. I hate bruising the end o my elbow (has happened before but probably not in this scenario) and like, it's painful in that "I am going to hurt for a long time, Idiota."

So yeah good morning. I don't know that I am going to mix. I am going to finish cleaning the living room so that includes putting away my flavors and stuff. Maybe I wll get inspired but IDK.

The great part about spilling coffee is that it is the one liquid where one drop equals a gallon. You can flood your entire house with one cup.

I KNOW RITE!!! I mean.. it's impossible. Grr. Heh if there is enough coffee (I drink the leftovers cold the next day and I know it sounds revolting but it's not) from m coffee urn, I may place one carefully on my coffee table.

I don't know how it does that.

Mixing can wait unless you're low. Take care of that elbow.

I'm sorry you fell and hurt yourself but it reminds me of an old joke where someone falls and someone else asks if they are alright. They respond oh, I'm fine, I landed on my head.

Anyone drink yerba mate? It's a south American drink, alternative to coffee. I drink both, because why not?
I used to, I have some tea bags in the cupboard. I've been sticking with coffee for the last few years.

I brew mine, once in a while, with loose leaf in my chemex. Works pretty good, I brewed it in my french press before I realized I could do it with the chemex.

I used loose leaf when I started steeping exotic teas and herbs. I like the wire cage spoons balls for that.
