Too cold to do anything outside today. I may actually mix again! I want to try Bronuts and Pecan Shortbread, and play with the two Quince flavors I got.

In other news, I opened up the curtain to my deck this morning, and a deer (with antlers) popped his head up from under my bird feeder! Not a fan of having them in the yard, but it was very cool. I don't see bucks very often.
Interested in what you think of the quince flavors. 12 degrees here this morning with 27 for the high. Way too cold for outside work.

Used to see deer all the time at home. Saw moose,Bear,Bobcat etc at home but nothing here at daughters.

Good morning mixers. I feel like I got hit by a train. Must have been tossing and turning last night. Time to get ready for another day of work.
That’s not a good way to start the day. I hope it’s not to rough..

SFTs of Quince and Quince jelly mixed! Now that I'm mixing new things, I'm going to have to coil and wick a dripper so I can test properly. It's been a while! I was really stuck in a rut.

We have lots of wildlife. Not too many bears, yet, thankfully. Bobcat we have, someone saw one take down a small deer nearby. I think the scariest are the fisher cats! The noise they make is just awful!

Oh yes, the fisher cats. I hate those things.

Same here. Lots of deer here too but rarely see bucks. They lay low. See some solitary does but most often the does and their fawns are in groups. Truthfully, they're a PITA. They eat all our plants and bushes. They have a whole forest to forage in but they have to eat our foundation shrubs.

I'm just vaping and enjoying my regular middle of the week weekend. I name all my juices Crazy juice no.1, 2, etc., not very creative on my names.

Mine are named pretty much the ingredient list. I always hated companies that would name a juice something like “Palomino Sunset”... why oh why can’t you just call it “strawberry peach custard” so I don’t have to look up what it actually is every time?. Life is complicated enough. Give me simple

I'm in the call it what it is camp as well. Tricky and creative names for mine, like "honey dragon tea", peach guava and such. Yeah, the HDT is vague, but reminds me that it's black Honey Tobacco, Dragonfruit and green tea. I can still remember that much ;)

And I'm not sure I even want to know what's in Unicorn Vomit!

They have a whole forest to forage in but they have to eat our foundation shrubs.

And roses. They LOVE roses!! :grr:

    LAST REMINDER

Fran, place your BCF order. :)
I'm in the process of and I was mistaken and have 8 flavors. Due to 3-4 30ml sizes I'm just over $30 and was wondering if I should wait for a sale. On the other hand, it still isn't going to make any big difference and I'd rather just get it done with. Whatcha think?

Well, let's do the math. You can wait until the next sale at, say, 15% or place the order today at 6%. So that's a 9% difference. At $30, this comes to $2.70 difference. If there were a 15% sale coming up over Thanksgiving, and given it doesn't appear you are in any big hurry, I would (the cheap bastich I am) wait the 15 more days. But then, will BCF have a Thanksgiving sale? Beats me. Might have to wait for Xmas. So under all these knowns and unknowns, I would flip a coin. Heads you place the order today. Tails you take your chances on a 15% Thanksgiving sale.

Well, I had to rethink this thing. I forgot I have a $25 GC to BullCity so I downsized my 30ml's to 10. I had to get under $25 with shipping and that did it. So I suppose I will have a future order for the downsized ones. I'll worry about that later.

I spent some time thinking about this sad stuff this morning and I think I can hold it at bay. Christmas could be rough but I can do this. Need to convince myself I guess but right now I have some bottles to wash.

Also remember it's no sin to give in to it and just be sad for a while! I find the more I try to fight it, the worse it gets. The holidays are the hardest. I hope you find some peace.

Thank you so much. I feel I've had an overload of giving in to it and that does not make me happy. As far as trying to fight it that just doesn't work for me anymore but it did for many years. I've found keeping busy works best for me and I really haven't been doing as much of that as I should. I need to make more of an effort. With that in mind, I got my bottles washed. It's not much but I've been putting it off for days. I'm doing the cooking today also but right now I'm going to see if I can finish my Strawberry Biscotto recipe.

Slight change of plans. I got the nice garlands I ordered from Amazon. One red and one green. I used them to go around my bedroom door and closet door. No, it does not make me sad. It made me sad that I didn't have any. With that done now, I'll see about this recipe.
