Happy Saturday, mixers :)

Looks like the rain is back, but hey, it is that time of year for us. (Well, yeah, that is sometimes most of the year ;) )

I'm gathering info on Purilum flavors from Nic River. Any solid flavors? I have about 3 flavors from that line. 2 are still unopened. I do love the caramel coffee with sweet milk. The other two are cheesecakes.
Butter mint is popular and I love it.

Totally off topic but my many rescues over the years were interesting. One got inside a plastic bag someone dropped at top of stairs. We heard thump, thump, thump. She was bouncing down the stairs trying to get out. Poor thing was so traumatized, she ran every time she saw a bag after that.

Another one belonged to a neighbor, young kitten and they didn't feed it. It was eating dirt in my yard where I fertilized. It ended up being mine after I fed it. People can be so terrible.

    Somewhere between here and there
I’m so sorry about your kitty kitty. I know it’s heartbreaking. Had many heartbreaks over the years with my cats. After my last cat got mauled by a dog I assume and died I said I was done with pets. Then my Amber (up there in my pic) showed up on my doorstep a few years later. After posting her everywhere and no owner claimed her I kept her. Here we go again. She doesn’t go outside without one of us with her. Never again will my cats go outside unattended. She prefers her window seat anyway. I think the strays end up at my house because we are the only ones without a dog. I think Amber was abused or kids messed with her. She was real skittish when we first got her but with lots of love and gentleness she’s spoiled now. She still hates the sound of plastic bags though. After her I don’t want any more pets. We can’t travel or be away for long. She’s so spoiled she would grieve without seeing us for a while. They are also a lot of work. But for now we have her and will love her. They are family.

That’s funny about the plastic bag. Our cat used to sit and meow at me for treats and get on my nerves so I’d grab a plastic sack and shake it and he’d run away. It was kind of a game with us.

Well I just discovered that I left the lid off my in use nic....for two weeks! It’s “only” 50 or 60 mil but I hate to waste if I don’t have to. Think I’ve ruined it?

I’m still shaking my head. I’m in my vape closet several times a day.

Doubtful, depending on the shape it was in in the first place. How much has it darkened? Smell it, taste it, and see. Only you'll know if it's still ok. I kept nic in a desk drawer my first year of vaping, and it yellowed, but was still plenty good. So a cap off for that short a time probably didn't ruin it. But you might want to start keeping the remainder in the fridge or freezer to slow the oxidation now.

It smells okay but I’m going through a period of cigarette craving. I think I’ll baggy and label it, stash in the freezer and open a fresh one. I’ll experiment in better times.
    Thank you for responding!

I have been trying the bronuts recipe the past couple days a little at a time. It’s not bad but I’m not loving it. I doubt I’ll remix it.
I didn’t like it at first. Just too doughy. But it grew on me and now I love it. Oh well...it was worth a try.

Odd thing is the posted recipe tastes different than Wayne's one shot of Bronuts. I really like the one shot so I think something changed over the years. I would ask him but since he makes money off the one shots, that wouldn't be fair, I guess.

I've got to, got to, got to mix.

    Not today, though.
Me too but not today. Trying to get all my chores done. And we’ve got to leave in a little bit for a birthday party. I want to work in the yard tomorrow. I need to figure out what I’m going to mix.
